The girl looked almost Identical to his most precious family, who he had lost almost 4 years ago. He swore to himself he will protect this girl with everything he had got. On the other hand Angelica felt as if he was her brother and felt safe around him.

Here is a scene from one of the last chapters released, it's from the MC's perspective, his name is Jakub:

I was holding my snipper ready to fire.
After an hour or so I saw a mutant get past the third wall.
I started running and snipped that mutant. My aim is great I can snipe even while running. I knew many more are gonna barge in soon.
I ran through that platform as fast as I can to kill those mutants, I needed to keep them in distance.
Every single shot was a headshot, every mutant was killed by one bullet.
After I had killed 700 mutants they were to close to use the snipper.
I jumped, used my legs to absorb the shock and rolled forward, as I was taught at military, I started shooting right away.
There were over thousands of them left.
I was still able to kill them in one shot without even missing a single shot.
I was running as fast as I can around the main building, killing those mutants.
After an hour mega mutant wolf came, there was only four packs of mutants left, and I only had 50 more bullets.
After I emptied those last bullets at the mega mutant, I loaded the bazooka and ran towards them.
I angled myself in a way I was in middle of a line joining the pack of the mega mutant and some other pack.
That mega mutant tried to attack me but, I jumped and pulled the trigger.
The force pushed me backwards, towards the other pack and the blast was enough to eliminate the whole pack with the mega mutant.
I landed on my leg, reloaded the bazooka while running, position myself, jumped and fired, to get to the third pack and killing the second pack.
I again reloaded the bazooka while running and destroyed the third pack. the forth pack was visible from there and I killed them from there.
This action did took a toll on my arms but, it would be fine after an hour or so.
