We can either reply to or delete our own comments, but can't edit them. It pisses me off when I make typos because my phone either corrects me erroneously or I type too fast and I kind of have to accept the outcome, y'know?
People make mistakes! Let us redeem ourselves! Let us edit our own damn comments!

I often deleted my comments because of mistakes. It would have been much more comfortable to edit them instead.

Elawn it's a feature not a bug. Just like life, mistakes are there to learn from, so they should remain there as a constant reminder that you should look at the keyboard when you type or properly examine your sentences before you submit your reply.

posting a comment is like making a decision in real life bruh, if you make a mistake, it's gonna stick with you forever. you don't get to edit your decisions in real life, just like how you can't edit your comments

You can copy the comment, delete it, than paste and modify it. It does get annoying after a while though.
