Literally verified as not knowing what they're reviewing. "Oh, this badly translated synopsis seems pretty good. FIVE ******* STARS!" Wtf.

So, don't trust ratings(Not all of them are 'false reviews'). Read the novel yourself to find out if its good.

This is why Sunny Sneak Peek should be introduced directly in what's next. It would allow voters to read.
Misguided_Rooster Although I do mean that section as well, but just in general, you can review novels without reading a single chapter. It's ridiculous. Not that there's anything stopping you from clicking the latest chapter and then reviewing, but it would probably curb some people... right?
And as others have said, you should be able to rate without reviewing, I think there would be more 3 star ratings if that were the case. If a novel isn't good enough, I won't bother to write something, likewise, if it isn't bad enough I won't bother to write about it :P
Some might disagree but I think there should be a minimum number of chapters read before being able to review (or even rate). Most of the time the first few chapters start off well enough but after 20 or 30, you can clearly see the author's ineptitude.
Lastly, the star ratings suck. Why is translation quality mixed in with the novel quality? Their entire service is translation, surely we should expect good translations, why are we being asked to rate them? And stability of updates, lmao. What a joke.

The translation quality, I think, is for the translators. That's for them to know that people like the translation quality, or something like that.
I think the novel qualities for the authors...
If a novel has say: 100 ratings and the majority rated 3 stars or below for translation quality that novel should never go premium or have ads c;..cuz, it's a waste of everything to read something you can't read!??!?!
If Qidian removes the 'rating without reading jack sh*t' thing, then they won't be able to inflate their own works or something like that..

I totally agree with OP. It´s useless currently. They should instead make it along the lines, no reviews before 100 chapters released.
