There are some premium novels (that I won't name) that has atrocious release rate. It's not like you're translating/writing for free, you're premium now, shouldn't you as a translator/writer release at least 3 chapters per day?

3 chapters a day is a pretty big ask. I'm still waiting for the novels to at least be 1 release a day while being premium. I mean Swallowed Star was made premium then went right into a new translator that took over a month so any SS used on the first few premium chapters were wasted since they were all released free once new translator started releasing chapters again. The new translator has a worse release rate and worse quality as well and it's still somehow a premium novel just because the story is good. Premium should be based on the translator quality and consistency not popularity of the actual story. Why reward shoddy workmanship when it's just going to encourage more translators to put less work into their work leading to an eventual decline in readers.

Some translators do it in their spare time. Each chapter might took 3~8 hours based on some translator words depending on novel difficulty. So if they had a full time job that 3 chapters is impossible.
Check how many people are working on the novel. If it's TransN or Nyo Boi something, (I mean if its a team or whatever it's called), then I understand you asking for more chapters considering that they could easily do 3~5 chapters a day (plus minus the atrocious quality).
Next is one translator one editor. This should be fine, at most, they could five 10~12 chapters per week, and a split of 30/30 for the translator and editor isn't too bad for them either.
Same translator and editor, a rare case, just be contented with one chapter a day.
PS. Releasing three chapters a day is counter-intuitive for Premiums, yet more locked chapters would mean more people that would unlock it with Spirit Stones, the bad news is, they are free Spirit stones, which the translator/editor/author doesn't care about. Having a false sense of craving by releasing premium chapters in small bits would bait out hidden whales = actually having someone sacrifice paid spirit stones to binge read or some crap.
SemiDevil I like the idea premium should better than free one.
Whether in release or quality of translation.
If the novel goes premium without any improvement, that same with extortion money from reader
wow. one a day is already enough... you’re so greedy. translators need a life as well you know. sure if the chapters are short but if it’s long.... i’m worries whether translators will be able to have a life. i doubt that translating full time can feed a whole family very well, though maybe it could be a very good side job. This kind of demand feels kind of rude like you don’t consider translators own humanity and well being. I guess people could gather a ‘team’ of translators. but translators don’t grow on trees.
