I have no story prepared as this was my first novel. I want to scrap it off. Is it alright? I have another novel in mind with its ending completed. Should I go ahead with it?

I think if you state your reasons clearly and not leave your loyal readers hanging most people will be understanding. Also if you had a planned ending for your novel but feel like you lost interest in continuing to write the novel, it would be nice to share the ending with your readers.
Broughtwaorld2 It is really hard to write a story you are not interested in. Worst case scenario, just make a new account and post your new novel from that one.

If I knew that my author was going to abandon some project, I would be depressed! But as colleague author I understand!
Difficult situation, so the first thing you have to have is persistence when you are going to write, for when you get those boring moments in life.
Suggestion: Publish another normal chapter, make a note at the beginning of the chapter explaining the situation and leave the story in hiatus, so if you get inspired again, you can continue where you left off.
