Recently I tried to reorganize my chapters and it was a disaster. I had to manually delete every chapter and then recover them and then Re-upload each one. Then I realized the order was messed up and then I had to do it all over again. It is so bad I want to leave this platform altogether. Please fix it

I actually have like 50% of my reader base in the "other" category. I think it is amazing that I can connect to readers from all over the world. I have never felt this much satisfaction from anything else I have done: job or hobby.

I can understand what you are talking about and I agree with parts of your statement. However, I think you are having some misunderstanding.

There are plenty of novels out there written by "Elite" authors. However, these novels usually cost money and also have slow updates. The major paperback books can take years to update the series. There are two major reasons why people use webnovel:
First, There are hundreds of free novels; yes the quality might not be great but at least it's free. Don't read premium novels if you don't want to. This site certainly leans toward quantity over quality.

Second, Most novels have daily updates; Some more. So its great for people that do not want to wait long to know what happens next.

Ultimately, I think readers know that the average quality of the novels on this site is quite low. However, they choose to read bc of the above reasons. You have to understand that novels fall under the huge umbrella that is entertainment. Whether you enjoy Shakespeare or ero-manga. The fact is that novels are just entertainment at the end of the day. Different people have different tastes and that does not make anyone better than everybody else.

I cannot speak for others. But for me as a writer, I try to write the book I want to read. So I just feel like reading a good System novel and could not find one so I am writing one. In my case, my readers actually poke me bc I keep forgetting about the system when writing. I only used it in the beginning and have not really touched it since.

Furthermore, you have to realize writing is under the umbrella that is entertainment. You have to give the readers what they want to read.

Ps im writing Supreme Emperor System. It is set in modern world and the MC gets a system. I think it is very fun to read.
