Hello, I am new here and I have a few questions. I read somewhere that the chapters are usually unlocked after a period of time, and that if you don't have enough spirit stones you just have to wait. So how long does it take in general?

I registered on friday, completed the beginner missions, daily checked-in, and used all of the spirit stones I earned that way to unlock chapters of Mr. CEO, which I began reading on friday. I am now at chapter 141/992 (14% read), so still 851 chapters to unlock. Math are simple: 3 to 4 spirit stones are needed to unlock one chapter, so I can unlock 2 to 3 chapters every time I daily check in. Meaning it will take me a year to finish this novel. And that is only if I check-in every single day until then, which is not realistic at all.

Plus, I'm kind of afraid of beginning another webnovel in the meantime because when I reach its locked chapters I will have to spend twice more spirit stones without getting more daily.

Or I can pay to get spirit stones to finish this novel, which mean the 50$ plan. If it's the same for each novel then this website is really expensive! Is there a way to buy a printed copy? That would probably be much cheaper than reading online here.

How do you usually solve this brain-teaser? I can't believe you all pay 50$ for each novel.

    3. Vote your favorite novel with power stones 🔥. Your first vote gives you 5SS.
    4. If you're using the app, watch a random video daily for 5-16SS.
    5. Invite friends to join Webnovel and get them to use your code to open an account using the social network accounts (Facebook, Twitter). Depending on what level you are, you can get 88-102SS.
    6. There's a survey on the explore page banner you can do to get 20SS after all the survey questionnaires have been collected.

    By doing 1-4, you can get at least 20SS and a max of 42SS. If we go 4SS per chapter, you can read 5-10 chapters per day. As long as you're reading just one premium novel, this is the best alternative.

      One last question for future reference: how do you know whether a novel is premium or not? Only by checking beforehand the table of contents to see where the locked chapters begin, or is there another way?           Karma57 There's no other way. You just have to check the TOC. Most novels displayed on the explore page and ranking are premium novels.

              Yes you can read the content for free on piracy sites but like can't you support the author and translators? They literally worked on the books you enjoy reading.

              It's not like you to to a restaurant and say wow this place is such a scam, if I go to the trashcan behind the restaurant after midnight I can find the same food for free. I dumped this restaurant in favour of a dumpster.
              You can eat and make your own food at home but you go out to enjoy delicious food cooked by someone else, that is why you pay them. Just like that you can also write your own novels but you read interesting novels written by others, and you should pay them for that too.

                  It's also more worth it to go look at other webnovel sites, where the stories are free there and also probably posted there by the same author. If it was pirated then I could care less. The most I'll be supporting them If i really like their book is leave a good review.

                  What sucks even more is the number of trash stories in webnovel that are monetized.

                    itsmeTuba I would be more apt to support the authors and translators if the platform to do so was not a scam. Purchasing privileges for one doesn’t guarantee you a full month of the privilege, only until the end of that month. So for those unfortunate to purchase halfway through in attempts at showing support get scammed. Also the amount of coins required to purchase top tier privilege is outrageous. Over 20USD just to purchase it for one novel is a bit steep. If the platform was set up better maybe people would be more willing to cough up some support for those putting in hard work to give us content.
