We'll get to my question later. First, listen to my ramblings. Please. Humour me.

I was binge reading an Original novel that I had randomly chosen and guess what? That novel in the lower 100 Original Ranking had 300+ Reviews. Imagine my surprise when I noticed that.

Now before I get into this I want all those who read this to know that the novel mentioned above, 'Reincarnation in Naruto: Konoha's Genius of the Ice Style' was in no way a worthless novel. Sure it wasn't awesome but it was good enough to spend a lazy afternoon on.

Guess what? 'EnumaElish' apparently doesn't share my viewpoint. He left over 50~100 (Didn't really count properly but somewhere there) 1-Star reviews.

Blows your mind doesn't it? Well it did mine. And the next thing is even worser, this apparently ain't his first time doing this Sh!t.

It's one thing to convey your opinion and another to try destroy an Author's Creation.

I understand how it would feel as I am an Author( Albeit a minor one) myself and I won't take kindly to such an insult.

Thankfully there are many good Samaritans in this world who took the time and effort to post many positive reviews to make up for the over 2 star decrease in rating.

Now, I am not one to speak ill of others but this is going too far.

I am here and now extending my question.(Reason why I put the questions tag)

Well, it seems it ain't working now, considering that no action has been taken in the past few days. I along with many have used that friggin thing a lot of times but it is still asleep. No response. Not even a snore.

This is all I have to say/ask.

I implore the Qidian Team to look into the matter and take appropriate measures as and when needed. I also request my fellow readers to discourage such behaviour on any and every platform available.

    IP Bans are worthless and don't solve anything. It's super easy to change your IP address. If you have a dynamic IP then it might change without you even having to do anything. Plus there's things like VPN's and school networks, which further complicates the issue. The obvious solution is limiting users to only have 1 review per novel. A user could then make extra accounts, but that's a lot of extra effort.

        It's been 3 days and still no action from QI.
        The offender is running Scott free and the 1-Star reviews are still there.

        Good work.

          Dhunan I am going to say I heard through the grapevine that they do take posts like that down. It is slow but will probably take like a week or so. In no way has this happened to me, thank goodness, but I know the staff does care (despite being slow).

              Maximilian i always wondered why there are no limits for reviews and people can review more than once

              yeah.... if the lack of staff is the reason why no actions are taken, then they should really limit the amount of reviews one can make on a single story...

              heres a suggestion qidian... make it so that a user can only make a review after reading 5 chapters... lets say i read up to chapter 5 or chapter 27... and i made a review the site already shows what status you made the review at, and make it so that i can only make another review after the author has made another 5 chapters and ive read up to that point, enough for stories with consistent quality and stories with changing and improved writing to show making the review meaningfull... and those trolls to really put in effort if they really really hate something... so what you say @WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL think you can pitch this idea to qidian
