People have been posting pick up novel requests for X months now, and not a single one was put up for vote so I ask... What's the f*cking point?
No one cares about those lame ass novels who came out of nowhere, why aren't you taking into account what the readers want?

I believe they may have implemented the novel pickup requests tag too early in the forum. Qi Int are still in their formative stages I think.
Either that or it's their way of making us feel as if we're a part of this building process... It might've worked in the first few months, but everyone's getting too suspicious to carry this on sustainably.
Klepar No offense but there are novels who got close to 5 threads each with tons of "dittos" and "+1"'s that have just been buried beneath newer threads. And I don't really see what the point is if they give us the ability to actually make suggestions but don't really take them into account. I'm betting your request was just a lucky occurrence, they probably never even saw/cared about your thread.
Elawn I got replies from QI in both threads with requests. It's true that I did create them almost as soon as the forum was created, when QI was stealing reading the posts. I did get lucky that two novels I wanted are getting translated, so I'm just going around bragging and egging people to vote for Nightfall.
Klepar Seeing how successful the novels like Libary of Heaven's Path, Ultimate Scheming System and The Strongest System i think it would be in their best interest to add a novel like 'Great Demon King' to the list... I bet it would be in the top 10 list in no time if you consider the taste of the general public...
The only way for a novel to be picked up from requests is only if a translator takes interest in it. That's what I was told some time ago.
Translator interest is key. You also have to realise that the novels being added to the voting page now have been in the works for months, so I'd wait a little longer before getting too upset that X novel isn't on the voting page yet.
So in a way, your novel request should be directed towards potential translators instead of Qidian the company.
