We need an indicator to show what novels are premium so we don't waste time reading something only to get paywalled and then may have to drop.
There's nothing worse than reading a novel then running into a wall that's asking for money which in most cases is overpriced for the actual content. When you have to pay 14 ss for a chapter that rehashed the past 5+ chapters it's really not worth it. However you have to GAMBLE the chapter is new content when spending you money like a lootbox.
AdamW so an option for you to scroll down a list of chapters and look to see if any chapters are locked?

webnovel does free chapters before chapters that cost spirit stones because this draws in the reader and gets them to pay. it would be a bad marketing strategy if they marked certain stories as premium as that would lower the chance that the reader clicks and reads the stories, therefore giving them less money.
If the Rabbink was here, he would say if the novel is getting a lot of traffic or very popular, it is ensured to become premium or at least increases the chance drastically.
