I am reading alot of books and have read alot of manga, which some manga stuff has been made into a Netflix original series ie. basically anime. But i think some books that I'm reading would be nice to see as a tv series also if it's done right. Just wondering what other people think?

    Wolfsbain some books I can see as live actions. Though most I see as webcomics like spirit blade mountain.... Which ended up as an anime. Though there are others like Release that witch that I feel should never be made into an anime cause it waters down the seriousness it has. So release that witch I could see as a Korean drama (and yes I know it's in Chinese but my experience with Chinese dramas is always bad or weird graphics where as Korean dramas have a smoother feel).

        Since 2016, there has been a push of IP content to be adapted into dramas, animation, comics from the novel source material. A few months ago a number of books were earmarked to be adapted:

        Mao Ni's Joy of Life, Nightfall
        Animation Movie: The King's Avatar, Strange Life of a Cat
        Gourmet Food Supplier
        I'm Really a Superstar (not sure if it will still happen)
        Battle Through the Heavens

        and a few more that have not been translated since they are quite unpopular genres like Chinese History.

        The general Chinese TV, animation, comic market is still in its nascent stages (so they are still quite bad), but I think in a few more years, the directors, actors, etc would slowly improve to reach their East Asian peers like Korea and Japan.

          5 years later

          There is a number of anime series that have been adapted into Netflix's original. We can now watch these shows streamed on Netflix once we are outside of our home region. One example of a series like this is Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. The anime was created and yet it has become a fantastic animated series with a wide breadth of content and an intriguing storyline.
