No angst, no misunderstanding. I just cringe whenever those came up and lost all interest in the novel.

cola_addict I'm not sure if this qualifies or not, but you might like Hokuou Kizoku to Moukinzuma no Yukiguni Karigurashi.
It's been a while since I read it, but I'm pretty sure there's no angst or misunderstanding. I guess it depends on how you define those words though.
It's been out for a while, and it's not on this site, but it's complete, and I remember thinking it was quite light-hearted.

Scarlettbunny Thanks, I'll look into it.

lozlo I have already finished it ages ago. It is the fluffiest one and I got diabetes from it. Worldbuilding is amazing as well. Feels like I was living in that village when I read the novel.

Too bad there'is not even a few more that can match up to those standards of a novel.

cola_addict Hrm. Then you've probably read Sansheng, Wangchuan Wu Shang as well. It might have a little angst in it, but it's also very short and very good.

I think I remember seeing someone recommend "My disciple died yet again" as something heartwarming. But I haven't read it yet myself. It's complete and almost 400 chapters, so I'm waiting until I catch up on some side work before I start it. I'm afraid I'll lose a whole week once I start reading it, lol.

lozlo Yep. Finished Sansheng and also Seven Unfortunate Lifetimes.

My Disciple is not completely romance but it's a good read. I have put on hiatus for reading it though. Maybe I'll start again after I get my novel up and running.

cola_addict Ah well. It's like you said. There really is a very small pool of good stories like that. Even the few others that I might recommend, like Noble Girl living in Debt and Yuusha Party, are only partially translated and don't have a consistent release schedule. If they ever finish, it might be years from now.
