SinisterSmile On the main page of a novel, readers write reviews. For novels that are yet to be released, some readers post spoilers about them or post rude comments to express their dissatisfaction about the novel being on webnovel. To avoid all these, webnovel is closing the review section for novels that are yet to be released .i.e. novels in the “what’s next” section. Once the most voted novel of the week is released, then the review section will be opened again.

Is it still possible to post multible reviews?
If yes, why????????????????????

WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL That's a good action. This should be the case in order to stop those nonsense reviews and rating spams.

@WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL you should close the comment sections on novels as well until you can put a stop to spoilers being posted. I'm tired of reading through novels and come across a spoiler that ruins the whole novel in one of the top 3 comments because of trolls liking it so much.

WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL This is the single best thing you have done yet for this site. Wish you had done it way sooner. People review bombing female stories, or just posting spoilers and a bunch of nonsense, was making your reviews feature one of the worst in the industry. Glad to see your looking into improving that.

I miss the review function... most of the synopses for new novels don't give enough information, I really want to know more!!! They're just a few vague sentences, and don't give us much indication as to what the novel's going to be about. The top reviews did a really good job of this, telling us about the popularity of the original novel, basic plot, strengths, etc. (shout out to thestatsguy!) Now I'm so confused what to vote for, and I'm losing my motivation to check out the new novels because there is almost no information on their page.

Pleaaaase consider reinstating this feature, and maybe improve the banning system to get rid of spoilers and hateful comments! Or implement upvotes and downvotes, so that the bad comments and reviews can be hidden (or at least sent to the bottom)?

Btw, I have tried researching about the new novels on my own but it was unsuccessful. I think you have to understand the original language of the novel to find it online, which is why the top reviews were so important!

toyyoda21 Sometimes the translator adds a much-appreciated "normal" synopsis to go along with the useless translated synopsis.

I don't understand why worthless synopses are the norm for Asian webnovels.
