I get that they need to make money. But the way they are charging it doesn’t make sense. It’ll cost like over USD100 to pay for 700-800 chapters...and if I’m following multiple stories than that really doesn’t make sense. I’ll never pay under the current model.
Why not just make it a monthly subscription model... I don’t mind pay USD5, or even 10 a month for unlimited reading.

The empresses Gigglio also got locked at around chapter 202. It already had an adwall from basically the beginning... Why did they have to put the paywall so close to the beginning, I mean compared to Release That Witch and other stories, they got their paywall ages away, prob around chapter ~600. Just depressing...
In my case they lock chapters that I already paid with SS because they did not have the add option. So I use money to buy the SS and then the chapter that was locked and after a month they locked it again? How does that work?
kzat4 I have to agree on this one. I do not mind paying at all, I already paid a bit to keep up with some ongoing novels. However there are some novels that are already finished or that have 500+ locked chapters that get to a ridiculous amount of money so I simply do not read those.
Those novels happen to be ones I would definitely give a try and read if they were 10 or 20 bucks but instead I end up simply not spending on those at all because the cost is too staggering.
If there would only be an option to pay a certain amount for a novel to be able to read all current and future chapters for 1 set reasonable price.
Or even better.. paying like 500 bucks to read an unlimited amount of novels for a lifetime. I would definitely jump on that one as I spend hours reading every day, it would pay for itself in no time.
Fun thing is qi gives zero flying fks about our opinion. I'm on qi since betta, and qi just getting more and more greedy.

I too have unocked chapters by paying, then come back to see they are locked again. Reading neet with a dating sim. I have no problem paying, but not twice. The free online versions are only minorly annoying to read, so if I’m to be extorted for stuff I already paid for I have no issues following that route.
And if this site is truly not listening to us and fixing things, then it is time to move on.
pokeperson1000 quick question did you read via pc or phone app, as I read TKA and RTW via pc and everything is still unlocked fully for me from Chapter 1 upwards on both and I used ad's before to unlock stuff before it became premium

they want all your money............ so you get poor.......... once you don't have money they don't care.......... they just want $$$ more $$$................
lol QI carefully choose which one to lock........... they don't want to loose many readers of RTW which has a total of 76 million views............... imagine they lock the previous free chapters.............. then you want to read RTW again........... how much will you spend just to open those free chapter...........from chapter 100-835 so you have 735 free chapters.......... a chapter cost around 7-15 SS so you need 5145-11025 ss you want to read the previous chapter......... so you will spend $100-$200 just to read the previous free chapter............. That's stupid........... it's like you get a free book from a bookstore............ then after a year or months the bookstore ask for a money for the book that they gave you free.................. see how shameless it is?
Mahesvara007 I've had chats with CKTALON and he didn't lock mine but he tried to bs me about ad revenues etc last year its a pity I do IT and host sites plus deal with ad companies etc pointing out his numbers were bs and never replied back same with webnovel, so I know what your saying ... but it's been the same from qi since the huge claims started 3 yrs plus now on novelupdates in their huge mega post's also from GGP at GT when he sold everyone out before and after selling GT to QI etc

Well this is what I do if I see a good novel on nu I go to the site it links to and if it leads here I read the free ones then go and Google to find the rest. Actual fact most of the novels I seen where translated elsewhere first and got put up here some people where pissed about it as well. Well my recommendation is read the free stuff then find the rest online as it's free elsewhere stuff like that is everywhere from manga to anime to TV series to adult films. Rant over hope that the novels everyone reads they can find and continue
