Translation Status Label? Could we give that a try?
Flaffy ahhh yes. Then it should be active
, dropped
, and on hiatus
.
Bumping this I am not satisfied.
Flaffy you will not get the information, when the next chapter is scheduled.
you saw the Schedule per week before it was changed, it was a static value. They changed it, so the translator now has a plausible reason to deny, that he 'owes' us chapters. Therefore they will never implement a scheduling system

Billdoor It's not about scheduling, did you even read? Its about status of the translation. Is it going to continue? I don't care if you say maybe a year from now or not but I want it to be updated whether it was dropped or it, on hold for another translator so we can move on with our lives.
I don't need to know exactly when it it will be updated but I want to know that there is an intent to continue. A novel that has not been update for 3 months without any signs of explanation has me wondering is this novel even worth reading if you do not even translate anymore? Is it on hold or is qidian done with this?
You don't know the answer, I don't know the answer so it would be nice if qidian provided a status! Not a schedule!
the 10 chs / week is mostly meaningless what can we do against it...we can flame the forum or comments but nothing more...
but a translator status like "active", "on hold", "dropped" tells us what happens with the novel itself.
why should i start reading a novel which is dropped ? where is the meaning if i can't continue reading after the last translated chapter...
well a novel can change from "active" to "on hold" and then to "dropped"..but if its dropped it is meaningless to continue to read until it is again "active"
Flaffy you're right
Armand_Targaryen she is right.
Flaffy good. .good suggestion. .a very good suggestion indeed! :D

Flaffy good point.
@WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL give some atention please.
Alright uh good point.........
(its somehow is restrictive too , how can I tell quidan to pick up a book if it's never going to be picked up because I didn't pick it up in the first place and thus never even knew how it was ? and this leads to a cycle of forgetfulness just cuz I will simply be focused on chossing among the completed novels........)
this would be an awesome idea especially for those that release 3 or less in a week?
I always use the app so I will have to go through a tedious process of opening the novel, clicking the list button, then on to the picture which brings to the novel.... and it goes on and on... for countless novels.
Such a feature will no doubt be a great feature! and time saver!
