You know, I've been noticing a pattern for the last few weeks.

In the what's next section, every novel that gets released is the one that was introduces two weeks before.

For example, this Sunday, the most voted novel gets released, and a new one will be available for voting.

There are now three options again.

However, from these three options, we can basically predict which will come out next week, then the next one...

It's always in that order. What is even the point? Can't qidian reset it every week, or else it would be utterly pointless to vote on the what's next section.

    There is no point. Since the first added webnovel will always be the one to get the most votes and they don't reset the votes when they add new ones, so it's there just to showcase what's coming. If they reset votes, then the more informed voters will know when something is trash and won't vote for it, and that will create a situation where there are webnovels sitting in the what's next section for months at a time.

    There isn't much thought or reason behind any of the systems on this website, their only goal is to make as much money as possible using customer unfriendly practices by utilizing their monopoly on qidian licensed webnovels. Just don't read on webnovel.con, there are other websites that offer the same things just without the paywalls.

    EDIT: As a lazy person myself, I don't even care what I vote for. I don't read these female webnovels and I just vote on them each day because I don't want to spend more time than necessary on this garbage website by doing two extra clicks to go to the male section.
