Well I don't know about copyright issues but readers pool is something you need to earn yourself.if your original novel can placed in top10 for certain number of weeks you may get chance to get paid for your work.
I know a Chinese novel which got copyright clamied(I'm really a superstar)but I don't know the exact information about it.
My suggestion is,not using copyrighted content for good.
Not even that but new prime pass system is a total scam
For 10$ I can watch famous movie,TV series etc I'm Netflix and for 5$ I can watch the same in Amazon prime.but paying 40$ for novels is total scam in my opinion

Well this is how they want to go.i already stopped reading other novels and currently I'm reading a novel,if this novel goes premium then I'll leave this site :).I already wasted 10$ which isn't much but to a student like me it's a waste expenditure.

If it was a prime subscription it well spent but on chapters it's really a waste.the thing they are doing now is day light robbery of money.1$ for 50 spirit stones??with that one can read 5-6max,and 5$ 40chapters max.its really a waste of money.

Super gene have nearly 200 chapters available in super stone payment mode.
library of heavens path have nearly 140+ chapters available in spirit stone payment mode.
While the average daily free stones are approximately 30.it takes nearly 10-20 stones to unlock a chapter.
It takes nearly 1500+ stone to unlock chapters.where can we bring these many stones?
I save nearly 700+stone by inviting people and all other things which is now reduced to 150stones.
