MSLLYN It's possible that the chapters you are referring to were not paid for with SS but the free chapters that did not used to be locked. This is especially true for those premium chapters that they used to unlock one per day (if you've been around here long enough to experience that before QI took it away). They decided the chapters that they once gave away for free should not be free anymore. I kinda know what you're talking about because AFAIK I was updated on unlocking the chapters of Trial Marriage Husband, but when I scrolled back, I saw A LOT of chapters locked again.

Oh well. Sucks to be us.

      They have been locking free/unlocked chapters for a long time now. It started about 2-3 months after they introduced premium.

      To make it even worse, we now are no longer guaranteed to get SS with are daily check ins. You now have a chance to get Power Stones and Energy stones.. But you only get SS for using both those stones once... So the extra you get from daily check in is completely useless to you as a reader.

      We have given QI a free pass to many times now, and they are just getting bolder and bolder in their money grabbing pay wall ways... Soon we may not even get SS at all from Daily Checkin's.

        Pizz Take any online game whose online service has ended. I paid full price for demon's souls, one of my favorite games of all time. I used to replay it at least once a year, and now 80% of the game is removed. And that's just one example of a digital product "expiring". Look at the recent shutdown of Wildstar, it was a subscription based MMORPG with thousands of paying customers who paid hundreds of dollars over the years to play the game, some people even bought the physical collector's edition, and what now? The game doesn't exist anymore. Let's say you buy an ebook from the kindle store and 20 years from now amazon will shutdown, all the digital products you have bought will be gone forever. And that's just the best case scenario, lets take a rather recent event that happened a week or so ago. Some gamer under NDA streamed an Alpha version of the game Anthem and then he was banned from the Origins platform. Hundreds of games that he bought were taken away. For someone who runs an IT company you sure are very ignorant on the subject, you don't own digital products, you own the license to use them for a limited time.

            MSLLYN Because you never used SS to unlock those chapters back then. They were released under a variety of free means, which you have forgotten. If you want, we can check and tell you.

                Positive_Lullaby swg is still running on its own servers as people care about the game and i did the beta for that for 8mths+ , so I'm not and once again your just picking a very small part of the "whole internet", just games have always been dying when old and as I'm not I'm talking about novels, books, films music, standalone software etc...

                    CKtalon their is an odd bug as I posted in the FB forums as I had odd locked chapters, the admins have pasted it up, I believe it could be ad related , that why I post here and there (fb) about the need to add maybe your ad/video unlocks should be added and listed to the Consume History page as it could well clear up a few things as I'm having problems with 2-3 novels I unlocked via a mix of ad's / free daily log in's and bonus stones are buying stone , i even put up a screen pic for affects showing + 15-20 unlocks before 3-5 locked then 15+ again the other side on MMORPG: Martial Gamer alone and that's not counting the other novels i'm still going thru

                        Please can you add ad/video unlocks to the Consume History as I have a lot of novels
                        I've used ad's to unlock, on top of my bought stones and free daily ones from logging in and watching video on my phone
                        I log in every day as I'm lvl6 and almost 2.5k into the 25k for lvl7 all of this is shown on my History or even with comments on some novels,

                        the reason I ask this is I've once again found gaps in novels when I've unlocked a lot of chapters then found 2-4 chapters locked again, then past them have huge bits unlocked again,
                        I've shown this in the FB page via screen pic's
                        as it is now getting confusing as hell as to what is going on with chapters over the last few site updates

                        I believe if you could add this to the Consume History is would clear up a lot of what is going on complaints wise and also help you ie webnovel to run the site better and in turn make the readers happy,
                        with happy readers, you should make more and spend less time having to deal with comments about missing novel chapters etc freeing staff up for other work

                        this idea would help everyone in the end ps can we have an idea's tag please :)

                        it's even made me drop stuff now as due to this as why should i be made to rebuy unlocks which i believe we're unlocked via AD's+ watching video's or from bonus stones as I always try to keep my ss count @ 2000k ish as i log in every day as I'm lvl 6 and 2.5k in towards lvl7 .. as I was waiting until the gifting to TL teams started which has at long last ( as i spoke to you about that a good few months ago as i was sitting on my bought stones so, i could gift to my fav novel and team ) ,
                        like today I'll be buying some to gift as I do a gift a week to my fav novel as I watch the ad's to unlock use the freestones on a few backup novels mainline stuff like TKA , then use the rest to always gift the grimoires

                        btw the 2 novels I've noted problems with some far as I've not checked every one of the novels I read as I was a bit upset

                            CKtalon yeah also odd locked chapters on Experimental Log of the Crazy Lich but once again most of the odd still lock chapters all listed before the start date of the Consume History in June, and I know I did use a mix of ad's and free stones to lock I've only added 1 pic but I've got about 5-10 until i stopped unlocking when the costs got silly due to word count rubish like only of those chapters is now listed as 15 ss , but used to be 4ss or a video which i would have normally used

                                Pizz I'll get a dev to give you the numbers. It seems that there are just stray chapters that are unlocked. Perhaps you didn't unlock them back then?

                                As for listing ad-unlocked chapters in the consumption history, watching an ad doesn't consider a 'consumption,' so the system doesn't allow it to be listed. Even if they plan to modify the code, it will be quite a lot priority thing.

                                    I can, of course, understand the possibility that a few may not have been unlocked but i find it a little odd as i used to double check as I was reading them, but now stopped as I'm sure the devs will see I log in every day
                                    ( as I'm sure you've noted my lvl 6 + 2.5k in towards lvl7 with my id )
                                    and unlock a lot via ad's then stones before they became locked also a lot of this oddness was before the Consume History started in June,

                                    yet how does that explain the 1ss rebuy cost shown in the second pic

                                    which comes from the Consume History log, which I repaid only a few weeks ago ( shown by the date next to it)
                                    after a big site + app rollout and i'm 100%, I had to unlock them via free and ad's, that was why I asked for ad/ watched videos unlocks to be added to the Consume History so the future problem doesn't happen,
                                    I also understand that adding the coding may be a problem if the dev could answer that question ( ie the 1ss rebuy) when they look into the chapter numbers would be great,
                                    as I'm sure their note I bought stones yesterday,
                                    as i'm happy to keep supporting the site but those questions do need to be answered

                                          of odd unlocks inc huge unluck's then finding odd pages lucked and also being recharged the odd 1 ss costs a chapter to unlock them again which I was stupid and paid ...

                                          as I said believe it could be possible 1-2 of them may not have been unlocked but there is no way I believe all were not unlocked via paid - free - daily login and ad's unlock

                                          why was i charged 1 ss to re-unlock chapters once again i showed screen pics to back everything up,
                                          under the law, in the UK you've been given a "fair" amount of time to look into this and answer

                                            Pizz Hi，thank you for your feedback.There was indeed a period back then when The Nine Cauldrons had a mistake of costing 1 SS per chapter back then. It was fixed at the end of November. We, however, do honor our pricing mistake.

                                                , like this pic below ( as I said i can under the possibility of a few unlocks may have been missed but not loads across a good few novels's i read ) and your note I log in every day and spend stones + unlock my fav novel that still happens to use ads lucky ... he said he was going to ask you guys to check the problem below , I'm happy if you do need time to check and pm/email using my account mail as i believe i had used ad's to unlock some of those still locked chapter also my main point has been ..you'd think I'd noticed , i'll be honest is has stopped me unlocking and reading other books until I've finished other ones 1st as ads can't be proven when unlocking chapters ...where paid plus bonus and daily ones can
