I read somewhere that the SS costs depends on the word count of a chapter. For every 200 words you have to pay 1 SS. So the chapters that cost 7 SS have 1201 - 1400 words.
Though 36 SS for a chapter is really too high. What is the full name of the OGT story?

OGT is Our Glamorous Time. To be fair, not all of its chapters cost that much (I think its average is in the 20s), and it's a relatively short novel so it won't really cost so much in total. But if someone sees the cost for the first time, it would be a real turn off.

Tayab I don't know if you're referring to the webnovel or the comic (both available here). I don't follow either one so I don't really know how much the chapters cost, but for the cultivation novels I follow, 11-13 SS per chapter seems to be the norm. Not gonna lie, it does get pricey. The romance novels tend to be cheaper per chapter but the chapters are really short.
You can survive on free SS if you're patient and/or creative about getting the SS, and if you can be patient enough to wait for chapter discounts. Otherwise, you're gonna have to buy.
