What is your collection to views ratio?
[unknown] Ooh nice! :3
10,000 reads but slightly less collection to reads, compared to my older novella. Although that's to be expected. Prequels, I've heard, don't tend to get as many reads as the main novella.
mine is 97:1, 8 decrease from the previous one.
perks of slowly growing, i guess? and few chapters and slow updates. and romance novel.
Today's batch.

Suspect having it on temporary hold doesn't help. I really need to fix up the timelines, so happy with the sacrifice.
To Like A Man {BL} 443:1↑93
Wow. I'm gobsmacked. Is it because I gave a shout-out to the Philippines in one of the posts?
Reinesse Nice! Although I wouldn’t think firsthand that slow updates would help, but I guess I can see how when it’s new.
Romance novel eh? Maybe I should just switch over my genre to romance since it technically will have romance... lol just joking, but it is almost half tempting.
For a popular genre though, it’s interesting how the huge number of novels under it doesn’t detract from people finding them and picking them up to read!
Fantasy seems popular too, but maybe it’s so broad? Because I had 2 collections for the longest time after starting. XD
Update as of 22/03/2019
Ratio: 201:1
I think it is worsening. Idk what to do for increasing collections. Can anybody give tips?

Reinesse Yup! There seems to be more fantasy titles (although it’s the romance ones that get contracted most), but in terms of reader popularity, they don’t seem to seek them out as much as romance.
PoppyQueen Which book is that?

PoppyQueen is this Crimson Love? Strange, since the interest seems consistent. Readership can be fickle. Growing as an author also means acknowledging readership will fluctuate at a varied level according seasons and emerging trends. That's why I track my ratios frequently, so I can try to trend the fluctuation as much as possible.
Right now, I'm getting interest due to the LGBT writing prompt. Once that prompt dies, my guess the interest will drop off. My stories will hit a silent time again, which I will use to revise posts, work on new content and promotions.
The silent periods are the times to revise or stockpile new posts; high interest is the time to go for broke with pestering promotions. Use each stage to boost or better your story when they occur.
Today's batch.

Veronica8 I really liked your idea of maintaining an active and a dormant period between writing. Thanks for the info!
