My number of views is pretty great for a three-week-old fic, but when it comes to collections, that is another story...

    Ken_Raynous That sounds a lot like mine when I first started. Don't worry! It'll go up soon! I thought mine wouldn't, but it somehow escaped staying above the 1000 ratio.

    Actually, I thought my tree story collections would eventually pass my world story since it seemed to be a more popular genre, but oddly enough, MWTL sorta shot past RELAAT after being fluctuating in ties for a good while. And that was while having a break while rewriting on RR and not updating much. Of course, the latter story still has a better ratio.

            Well, thanks to the trending original stories mention, my story now has 1:553!
            I do not think I can keep the momentum for long, but it's still a vast improvement...

            My views jumped tremendously for IEIWE. I wonder why :thinking:

            Even though it just broke through 100:1 for the first time, it's only been about a month since I started writing. So I'd say this is pretty successful. I got more glowing reviews though :smile:

            My BTS novel, on the other hand...? BTS fanfics seem to have a bad name in the WN community. Such a shame, considering my editor and I rewrote the first few chapters about 4-5 times till we were satisfied. The voting also starts tomorrow!

              noctiferu Yeah I found that strange too. I haven’t seen an my issues anywhere yet on WN that would explain why it seems to have a bad rep. I see so mnay avatars with kpop idols, so I find the silence baffling.

                  Really?. I guess Fan Fic are always going to get a hit and miss, especially when it comes to real people fan fic.

                      Yeah, I just had a guy on discord rant about how much he hated BTS after seeing their fans flood the fanfic area with stuff like "Certain BTS member fell in love with ME" and stuff like that. Personally, I hate writing real ppl fanfics, so that's why mine doesn't have any ships. The allure of the tickets was too strong

                          noctiferu Takes that one bad impression to bring the bunch down. I'n not a fan of real ppl fanfic either, so I don't try it.

                          I vaguely remember a conversation like this happening on Wattpad months back when BTS was killing the Fan fiction category. BTS fanfic is going to ruffle up feathers no matter where you put them.

                            noctiferu Gah. If one has that much time fight the BTS fanfic Army, you'd think they'd use it to write a decent book.
