90751052 I think in some cases it does serve its purpose - as a way for the author to mention something to the audience (which is more of a personal note). It was just my personal opinion so I try to minimise using my author's note. But the temptation is there... -_-
I don't think they mind reading something 'extra', if it's a short note. :)
