author's original plan was , if i recollect correctly , 7 volume series. he put it on hold after 2 volumes in 2011. he started a rewrite in 2015 or 2016 but did not continue. Some one who reads chinese and follows him perhaps may have latest. while reading the translation of first version i was struck by how visual descrptive the text was and wondered if he was writing abook to make movie / Tv series later as he is also a film maker.
translation of vol 1 and part of 2 , upto chapter 17 is available. the volume ends at either chapter 24 or 26.
