I noticed that inkstone lacks a very simple feature: AUTOSAVE!
I cannot believe I still have to manually save my story every 2 minutes or so; I am not in 1998 anymore! Is there a technical difficulty or something preventing the devs from adding this feature, or could we get this feature anytime soon? Or else I will regretfully have to type on Google Docs and then copy-paste the stories once i am done; autosaving is an important tool that saves tons of frustration and time.
yuu_nii I'm surprised you don't type it out on a word processor already like with Microsoft Word with a grammarly premium plugin installed along with it. I mean sure inkstone is there but let's be honest most people probably use a good word processor then copy past lol.
I think having auto save would be a huge load on the servers eventually, and it puts a lot of the responsibility on webnovels website to keep your work saved so that's a no go.
Anyway make sure you back up your work somewhere maybe use docs and have one drive or something auto upload the files so if your power goes out or your harddrive dies or whatever you don't lose everything .
I use ink stone within the app and it auto saves my work...? I don’t use Microsoft word or google docs. I just type on my phone when I feel like it.
half_empty For those with android that download the app,It automatically save. But for those who are using the PC site, they have to manual save it or all there handwork disappear into thin air. It happens to me once so that why I use google doc.
ChocolatChan Ohhhh! I’ve never tried on my laptop so I wouldn’t know. I just use the iPhone app version and it’s really handy. Autocorrect sometimes gets the best of me though 
yuu_nii I agree so much man! I will often write hundreds of words and edit my entire chapter whilst being immersed in my writing which will cause me to forget to save. Then I misclick and Poof! All that work gone. So I too share the same sentiment of adding an autosave.
