FORTY MILLENNIUMS OF CULTIVATION!!!
TheAdventurer Why had I not thought of this before?
Personally I love the patriotism. The strong actually look after the weak and the weak idolize and support the strong. If the real world was like this world I'd be proud to be a human and I'd want to be a soldier.
Agree this is a "hidden gem" with over 950 chapters translated. It is a pity its rated only 60, especially given that the story is really good and the translation great, and release rate more that constant. One of the few novel on the site where you actually get more chapters then promised.

Major floods in Germany, around year 1983, citizens and immigrants alike running around finishing their chores for the day despite the awful weather. On a bridge on Boschbrucke there was a huge commotion as a small girl fell in the wild river. "Oh mein Gott, Oh mein Gott!", "Schneller, schneller!". Everyone was screaming and yelling figuring how to save the little girl, when all of a sudden they saw a figure jump in the water. It was Hans who was also there that day trying to get past the bridge to get home to his wife that made liver for lunch, his favourite. The figure swirled, and rolled in the river clumsilly. By waving her hands madly the little girl somehow got a hold of him, and together the drifted in the river until the water calmed down they got rescued by fireman. The first person to approach them after they got saved was the girls father, who turned out to be the major of Munchen. The man was visibly distressed and talked in an agitated yet grateful tone. "Thank you brave man, I am forever in your debt", he said while grasping for air. " Here is 5000 Marks, that's all I got on me, but when I get home I'll prepare 15000 more, and you are going to get a medal from the city of Munchen for your bravery in saving my daughter" he added. " And if there is anything else that you want to ask, just shoot, anything at all?"
Visibly angry Hans replied: "Zefixmilextamarsch! Just tell me who pushed me of that Scheissebrucke bridge, Himmihargodzefixsaggramentallelujamilextamarschscheissglumpvarregts!!". "And vote for FMOC, Um Himmels Willen!”
this is one of the best sci-fi novel i read so far unfortunately it has 3300 chapters in which by estimation this novel will finish translating in 2023 lol the author is quite imaginative and creative though
I can confirm that OP is right on target about novel.
But that makes me curious about the 100 Years of Mouthwashing.
Frabul the reason why i avoid it because I think i have enough of cultivation genre . You know the one with revenge plot , moving from small sect to another bigger sects , countless of arrogant but stupid young masters , milking moneys and another cliche ones . If this novel similar to those then i might pass hahaha
Vastly different, for example.
Everyone is given a contract when joining a sect, they are free to join a different sect, but the other sect must 'buyout' the contract.
Also, the person himself can buyout the contract, the government seems to be the strongest power, which has not really been expanded on much, but from what I have seen makes sense.
This novel is more about the battle of ideas.
Rezagusti Then you're in for a treat. As far as I've read there has been one, I repeat one, arrogant young master. And even then it was done different then other Cultivation novels. And most of the other Cultivation cliches either don't appear, or are done in creative ways that make them interesting.
Even if you're tired of the Cultivation genre I'd recommend giving this novel a chance.
Rezagusti Sorry for the late reply, this novel is NOTHING like the ones you mention. I too read a lot of nonsense novels like OEM or TTNH, but this one is special in so many ways. It is a great balance of adventure, cultivation and thriller. Smart which is a rare occurance for moat cultivation novels, where villans are really intelligent and strong, and our MC really needs to struggle to get out of the situations on his way. This and the addition of deep life conversations, and a great story developement that makes you sit in suspance even past the 1000th chapters is what I would consider this novels strong points.
