  • Personally I love the patriotism. The strong actually look after the weak and the weak idolize and support the strong. If the real world was like this world I'd be proud to be a human and I'd want to be a soldier.

    • DarkNorth23423 I disagree. I have never seen a good ending from IET's novels. Coiling Dragon was way too abrupt and ended right at the beginning of a reunion leaving too much to the imagination like the friends' reactions to the new universe and Linley's reunion with his mother. Stellar Transformation was similarly too open. The guys just left their world and we have no idea what kind of world they were creating or what they want out of it or even their life moving on. It was implied that there would be a story with Qin Yu's son but as of yet we haven't even seen another story in the same world. Desolate Era was probably the best but the entire point of the plot was to revive Yu Wei and we get like half a chapter of her basically listening in the background. None of them felt complete and seemed like IEt just wanted the story to end. If this is his ending when he's invested in the story I shudder to think what Swallowed Star will be like.

      • I'd like a status update on swallowed star with the promise of a mass release if possible.

        • What you have to remember is that webnovels are written entirely by one person and maybe an editor for grammar. One guy can only account for so much so they tend to focus on the mc. It's incomparable to real novels and stories which have entire teams working on it and fine tuning the world. Try some of the manhua and anime based on the books. They usually add some substance to side characters and plot in general. i generally prefer them to the webnovels.

        • Alright now that Legendary Guardian is done can anyone spoil me the ending? Specifically the romance. I never really got into it because it seemed like it would be a harem and I found myself bored most of the time. He came back from the future but he never seemed to make as much use of it as other mc. Nie Yan made a guild of super experts and actively used his knowledge to make a real business which we saw almost every other chapter. It was not only an mmorpg novel but also a business novel with guys and girls who grew to respect and join him rather than a harem of girls who want the d. While I'm sure Legendary Guardian also had success we didn't see it as much throughout the story and the events and battles were mostly dull enough to make me sleepy (this is what made me quit it). Anyway I just want to know how the romance ended up? Which women ended up with the mc and how do they live at the end? I probably won't be reading it anytime soon and certainly don't feel like spending 10+ ss per chapter for the final chapters.
