Hey everyone! My name is Morgan and I just created a webnovel account not even six hours ago, and I have no idea how it works here. I have an account on Wattpad and Inkitt, and I have no idea what I'm doing here. Do you guys have any tips for a newbie? I figured you guys could give me a few pointers on here, and also shamelessly give a link to your webnovel, because in the end, don't we all want reads?

Shameless link to my story: https://www.webnovel.com/book/13004786605328005/My-Obsession-with-Chloe-Claire

Synopsis: When Luke Armstrong got accepted into the University of Alabama, he didn't think much about what was in store in him. He only had two things on his mind. One) be the best damn wide receiver Coach Saban had ever seen, and two) win back the heart of his childhood best friend, Chloe Claire. The only things that are keeping them apart? Their friends and one dirty little lie.

My Obsession with Chloe Claire is a cheesy teen fiction that is sure to leave you cringing, laughing, and relating to its two main characters: Luke Armstrong and Chloe Claire. It contains a healthy romance, unrequited love, true friendship, and not to judge a book by its cover. It is a classic curvy girl meets popular guy with an unexpected twist.

WARNING: You fill fall completely in love with good guy Luke Armstrong, who most of us wish was actually real (I know I sure do).

UPDATES ON FRIDAY

A plan that would've been interesting is stocking up chapters to release daily chapters and eventually request a feature to advertise your novel. A tip for a newbie is to eat your vegetables, don't do drugs and look both ways before you cross the street

LithliyaOmorose there be trolls everywhere you must be a pirate with a troll harpoon yarrgh. Splurge on aloe vera toilet paper that's my tip.
Btw I have a 12 year old cousin that was named after the U of Alabama quarterback the year he was born. John Parker Holland is my cousins name.

But a better tip is that if you receive criticism don't take them personally. If they're phrased vaguely or rudely, ask for clarifications. You can either get good advice or learn it's just a troll.

Unknownguy That is encouraging to hear. Typically when I receive criticism(which was on Wattpad) they wouldn't specify anything wrong with the book, but would just say there wasn't good character development. That was only like one person, but I wasn't discouraged. Criticism will only make me better as an aspiring writer
