Hey guys, I'm a member of Webnovel team, also one of the person who uses Webnovel_Official account. I'm basically leading the content team, either translations and originals and anything regarding "Contents".

Tbh, it's diffcult to give you guys response on time, and answer all your questions, no matter which account I'm gonna use. However, a personal account will be easier for me to answer some questions "personally", at least.

Anyway, just like the title, let me know if you have any questions about the Webnovel development, just drop it here and I will try my best to give u guys "some answers" Xd.

    How do the views increase? What can I do apart from uploading every day like a sincere author that I have been doing for the past 15 days?

        SMK08 Official answer: Keep.working hard and make sure upload at least one chapter per day. The system will automactically track those new novels which have better releasing schedules, and push them up on the home page. It will help you to get huge exposure and bring you rapid views growth.

        Personal answer: releasing is super important. However, your plots and writing skills will be still your strongest weapons. No matter how big the exposure would give it out, you still need use your work to hook your fellow readers up. Steady releasing schedule and decent story always equle to success, in long term. In short term, you need to practice more if your skill is still weak. Writing is an inner and lonely trip, when you feel your improvement and even start to enjoy the lonely, you would be close to success. My turely suggest.

                @Yuren_Liu I would follow your twitter but I don’t use twitter ;-;. Also, I’ve been having issues with powerstone voting on my story and kinda need some help. I’ve posted on the forum here but haven’t gotten any replies.

                  SMK08 haha, thb I'm not that good on writing. Although I manage the content team, I won't say I can really drop useful hints. I strongly suggest to read 《Book of author》. Master Yang is a really master on webnovel writing. I promise you can get huge returns if you read every chapter of this book.

                      Yuren_Liu how are translation novels picked to be put into the voting pool? A fair amount of people seem to wish for more diverse novels, and i think that knowing how they are picked could offer some insight

                          Dontlookdown Tbh, personal pick up request would be still very niche. Our pick logic is basically driven by big data. Actually, that means majorities' reading demands drive our pick up plans. However, we have found that big data will also drive to weak diversity in long term. We have a plan to solve the issue but it really needs more time. Aside from that, most of the current titles in voting pool were translated in a year ago, at least. I do believe the pick up strategy will be better and better in the future. We will introduce some new concepts to your fellows.

                            Yuren_Liu since many people post about Google+ button in the apps, does webnovel will update their apps version again to remove/modify into google button before April?

                                I'm sure a lot of people have asked up the thread trail.

                                Can Webnovel have a delete novel button on Inkstone?

                                It's breaking my heart to see new readers showing interest in stories I've posted and want to remove because I won't continue them. I understand if you have a policy that may restrict this ability for translated novels.

                                At least for author own originals we post ourselves, we need this feature.

Please understand that we can not simply change the price since authors (Chinese and global) need their royalities to live. We need to bear the obligations to help them fight for greater incomes. Signing us an agreement means give their trust to us. We can not let our fellow authors being diaappointment.

                                                    Yuren_Liu I started writing my YA fantasy series in 2006. I finally managed to finish the first volume of it last year that I posted to this site in its entirety.

                                                    I definitely know the journey of failing, rejection, getting up and trying again. You're an author when you can face rejection and grow from it. Well, I still going at this writing thing and won't stop for anyone.

                                                        All of a sudden the collections to all 3 of my stories dropped to zero on inkstone. There's also another user experiencing the same problem who was asking on the forums.
