Yuren_Liu I would like to know if you will change your policy on abandoning webnovels and intead reduce their release rate. I am talking about translated webnovels. At least I would appreciate it if you would officialy release a statement pointing out that this webnovel's translation is changing translator/ looking for new translator, is cancelled, on temporal hiatus, etc. It is stupid to bring in new novels each week if they are later cancelled without any official news.
By the way, now that I have your attention, what is the current status of the translated webnovel "Pursuing Immortality"?

I would like to ask two questions:

1. Is there a dark mode feature coming soon? I dislike the bright white background.
2. What's the plan for the translation of Pursuing Immortality? It is such a high quality novel but it has been 2 months now without news or updates (dunno if this actually sensitive, because there is no info).

DJRogue Usually every single contracted tirle will join Premium. Authors signed contract with us, which means we need to take responsibilities and obligations to help them make money. It is more or less like a commitment. If you are asking how we choose potential titles to approach, it's hard to give u a basic standard. Data drives a lot but our editors still need to read the stories and generate analysis for interal team reviewing. Editors work like an angel investor who invest the most potential but risky targets at early stage.

DJRogue To implement rich text on inkstone is not hard but the reading engine on app will be tough to upgrade at the same time. Also need to take care of previous versions too. Aside from that, every feature could be implemented without doubt but the priority is another issue.

BlueRhapsody To allow authors to use Italic or Bold would be no difference to allow authors to input images or videos. All html tags, not hard but front end app needs to do a lot of works. Priority is the biggest issue.

@Yuren_Liu I think this website needs more transparency in their writing competitions, and other events. Since this website is an international website, a lot of us foreigners find it completely mind boggling that certain rules are forsaken without giving explanation. Almost every american site lists the reasons for why certain events happen, like why a story doesn't get 1st place when it reached specified goals. I know you guys only have like a 4 people team, at least last time I heard, but it would be nice if writers were respected. Obviously, we are just avatars on this website, and it just seems appropriate to navigate slightly more carefully in an international site than in a foreign site. So, that is just my recommendation, and hope you give me some clout by replying, thanks.

Not sure if this was already mentioned (too lazy to read all of the past comments) but I would really like the ability to delete my novels. Novels I've created and have dropped, that sorta thing. To me it just leaves a bad reminder of stories I've never, and never will, finish.

Yuren_Liu Any future possibility on a filter for stories, namely Originals, by number of chapters or reviews? Or something which would decrease the amount of time searching the crannies of the New Originals for actual good stories that aren't dropped, 1 chaptered, or have zero reviews (another possible indication of a story going nowhere). I'm not talking about the "Chapters" or "Ratings" search section, I mean a filter for the "New" Originals section.

Actually, now that I'm thinking about it... Just more filtering options even just for Female or Male lead would be nice. Or make tags more useable/searchable? Throwing out ideas here~ The other search sections bring up the same stories basically every day, so the only way to find good books without poring through the forums is through the New Originals section. But even then those stories are ordered by the time uploaded, so most of the stories shown first will literally have less than 10 chapters anyway....

Haha I realized I was wrong, I said something like reading somewhere else that's free because one of premium book I read stopped releasing chapter for a month and there's no translator note explaining things, I didn't even mention the website or anything and my account got suspended in less than several hours.

I was sorry though, I've never written spam comment and I only did this one time and I didn't even use cursing words. Can I get my account back? I already sent email request but it hasn't been responded yet. Thanks

@WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL What's up with the translation of Pursuing Immortality? No news and updates. It's really annoying to be left in the dark after investing my time and energy in a novel that is as good as this one.

Chryiss imagine that would be costly. The design elements alone will zap away author pay. If they can't do HTML formatting due to platform integration costs, doubt they'd be able tweak much of their filter and meta data system without adjusting their catalog structure. Just meh view. Shame, better filters allow for better discovery.

Kilian it surprises me to hear that a lot of the premium stories go on hiatus or the regular update schedule stops. I would have thought there was at least two on a story running to schedule. Unless the translators work queue is overflowing.

Yuren_Liu Any chance that those of us who took a leap of faith with the membership get at least a badge? I imagine many of us drained our stockpile of forever spiritstones as gifts during this period as we assumed they were no longer really relevant.
