About a year ago i dropped release that witch after having unlocked up to 800-900 chapters. I wanted to pick it back up but now all my chapters have been locked after the first volume. Why should i have to pay SS again for those i have already unlock?

I clearly remember having read past tge point of roland beating the church, negotiating with the ancient witch blobs and also bringing witches into his dreamworld.

Sadly webnovel changed their policies yet again, chapters unlocked by paying SS to skip ads were all re-locked and all free chapters past the 1st 10% of chapters were also locked on almost all the Premium Novels.
The only ones that stayed unlocked was the Premium chapters you had paid the full SS price to unlock, the records of which are incomplete due to webnovel only keeping records for roughly the past 6 months worth of transactions.
You can get the chapters unlocked without having to pay again if you can show them a screenshot of the transaction log page with the chapters in question showing as being paid for in the log.
Peacecraft thank you for the clarification. Well i guess thats just one more reason to drop webnovel... these monetisation scams to push microtransactions are becoming a plague in almost every online industry now..

Peacecraft That isn't accurate. The adwalled ones that were paid for or watched are still unlocked, only ones that were made free before paying/watching ads were not. The ad wall was a rolling system, so only the most recent ones were adwalled. I have hundreds of previously adwalled chapters, all still unlocked.
There have been some bugs, but usually it was because of chapters actually not having been paid for when "relocking" happened.
Also you can request a mostly complete log of all paid ss and watched ads by contacting them by email, it's all there for the most part, just not listed on the site.
