Looking for something without cultivation. Cultivation really bores me and most of the novels are cultivation.

    Mistaman Well, pretty much all novels have cultivation here one way or another. Be it named system or genes or magic or psychic abilities ect... Well, you can try Trafford's Trading Club. Mc doesn't do cultivation in this atleast. There are all kinds of bizzare creatures and people tho. There are even taoists that do cultivation but mc doesn't do cultivation. He gets his power from the club. He sells services that can pretty much make any of your wish come true as long as you have the means to pay for it. Payment can be selling their souls, something important like family love, lifespan, extraordinary items ect. Basically what demons collect. As he does transactions the club gives him more power and lifespan, but it doesn't feel like cultivation. Author doesn't really focus on that aspect atleast.

        Strange Life of a Cat, The Ultimate Evolution (you could say it has "cultivation" but the focus in my opinion is more on comedy and on the world building). Traffords Trading Club and Perfect Secret Love. Like them or hate them.

        Edit: What N0xiety said is pretty much right. It's hard to find any novel here without any sort of cultivation. It's like isekai in Japanese novels, they get the most views and therefore have a dominant precense as story element.

              N0xiety You mean leveling up in games is considered cultivation? I thought cultivation refers to a system where the person needs to practise certain methods (like meditation) or eat elixir...etc

                  SRandom So what about genes, psychic abilities, magic? These are also cultivation novels. Just named differently. And yes leveling up is pretty much cultivation. Just named differently. All those system novels are also cultivation.

                      N0xiety Hmmm, that's not how "cultivation" is being defined at Webnovel or Novelupdates. It is supposed to refer to the Chinese fantasy system. But of coz, maybe the Original Poster is indeed asking for a novel without MC leveling up?

                          I'm really a superstar is one of the most awesome novels I have read to the present.

                            Dungeon Defense is a pretty unique korean novel. MC is as smart as Light from death note but in a more political sense. More of fighting to outsmart the other, plotting, fighting wars against humans, very different, still fantasy. Every character is fleshed out. They have their own unique way of cussing though. Ps. despite its name, there isn't anything about dungeons.

                            I might be going far off the bounds of what you're thinking but if you don't want cultivation don't look for chinese ones too much.

                              You should check out Chronicles of Primordial Wars. Although the mc does get stronger I don’t think it’s a cultivation novel. It’s about this dude who got teleported to another world that is still in its Stone Age. He tries his best to survive and gets stronger on the way, but he doesn’t practice cultivation because his strength goes up after he fights.

                                I don't think most of the Game genre have cultivation but I might be mistaken.

                                  More like a KINGDOM manga to set your example..it doent have a cultivation genre but its a manga. You might want to develop your own story if you feel bored.

                                    "Village Girl as Family Head: picked up a general for farming" shows great promise. A story about a modern woman waking up as a 16 year old girl in feudal China and trying to provide for her younger siblings/dealing with horrible, older relatives. The plot and characters seem very interesting so far, but the updates are abysmally slow. The novel says it updates once a week, but it is more like once every one or two months.
