Am i the only one that completely lost interest when amon played around with klien and stripped him of his secrets.Been so used to him being the chess player now he just the chess piece.
Lord of the Mysteries
Blasphemer If you look at it in a different angle, he was a chess piece from the very beginning when he woke up in the body of the original Klein .
CaffeByTheTree There's too little information on what and how the blasphemy slate came to be. Even its history is somewhat cloudy. Some say it was created by the original creator "correct me if my information is somewhat buggy", some say it just pop up when the Sun God existed, others tell of the blasphemy slate was given (?) by the gods in the age of apocalypse.
I won't jump into conclusion but the blasphemy slates for me are like a stack of research data, accumulated by many researchers in the past (the modern world which was forgotten) dedicated for the evolution of human kind.
(crazy theory coming in)
From the clues gathered by Klein, the modern world was destroyed by an unknown event (more like a biological apocalypse, some might have gone instinct or evolve ). After that, somehow or someone pop up and dressed as a god (The Creator) and somehow restored the population of many beings on earth (have you ever saw a movie when the MC tries to clone some animals, humans and created many more unusual beings). His research on restoration was implemented by the used of those so called slates (if it was an apocalypse, you can't reverse everything. you need to improvise too).
If you trace the origins of the sequence potions, the first wielders or host was animals (sea god, hairy baboon, octopus, worms, dragons (more like an evolved lizard to me) zombies and beast folk (mutated humans).
Of course, the "Creator" was not alone in his quest. There were some survivors in the first apocalypse hidden in the place called Chernobyl (probably a bunker of sorts). They were the first pioneers in the new world, dedicated to restore its former glory. But somehow or someway, a discord occurred in their team. (that explains why the first creator died).
After that, another survivor awakened somehow and took the mantle of the Creator which is the Sun God.
Those research data was so important that it had to be encrypted. The founders took the opportunity to assemble it in one and named it as Blasphemy Slate (they used it as an ill humor of the past and their religion which is clearly catholic. You can see it from the Sun God's naming sense and his items left with him).
Those Blasphemy Slates were not perfect. When the so called dispute happened, it was copied and was taken to be distributed to the local populace of mutants. The first was named as The First Blasphemy Slate where it holds the full research data and messages from the creator. The stolen one was The Second Blasphemy Slate.
The path's or sequences that was written was meant to be used, not by everyone but the selected few that can survive its procedure.
(end of the silly theory)
As for the exact details, shrugs i really don't know! too much mystery was written by that mysterious author. There are many plot holes that are visible to perfect it (as for now though) so asking the exact details would really not help. Reading the mtl is bad enough while solving the history puzzle would kill me sooner than i expected.
As for your question on why the sequences holds so many branches is simple. Just like how unique a Siberian dog is compared to an Askal, even though they are of the same species. There are many examples, but the rest of the data are not written yet on the novel. If you want, you can read the mtl and try to decipher it yourself. Maybe there is a difference but beware though! when you start reading it, Its Hell your walking into.
Sollkiri Been there, done that.
Took me ages to get back to the normal releases
Thankfully i just read about 70(ish) chapters in the future so it was easy to resolve.
And about your theory, As crazy and silly as it may be, it's still gonna be my go to until the author actually clarifies things
Also What is klein's sequence as of the latest chapters?
5p3ctrum CaffeByTheTree Klein is currently a sequence 3 Ancient Scholar fully digested. He's still looking for clues for the uniqueness of the sequence 2 Miracle Invoker which he is unlucky as of now. Amon, True Creator, Night Goddess, Zarath and many more fucking deities are still playing with him.
5p3ctrum Leonard's parasite is a sequence 1 Trojan of Destiny, Pales. That creep is doing the good guy action to benefit from Klein's spoils and his authority as the "fake" master of the origin castle.
Klein doesn't need to recover his body. Its like a cheat engine thanks for the origin castle's help, he resurrects in the same spot where his physical body dies with him being weakened.
I forgot about that Emlyn bat's history but he was caught by the red gloves together with Father Stracovsky (?) with the help of Leonard (just a job assigned to him).
He can still be summon by The Fool even if he is inside the Chanis Gate. (thank the creepy night goddess for that)
Sollkiri waittt. there is still no confirmation of it?. even klein himself didnot suspect it?. in the comment section. peoples also wondering about it. there even someone that point out that its actualy klein himself who divine it that make him automaticly pick fool card. and connecting with author other novel who apparently In the begining of novel the endgame content already spilled.
Sollkiri so there is this Monk. passerby monk that MC meet at early volume. just passerby giving hint or something. and and the end of stories, AND BOMB that monk actualy god in disguise. this is what i cacth from reading the comments. if you want to read the discusion. its at the comment section Chapter 793
Anna_94 If you mean that the novel is nearing its ending, it would take another 2 volumes before the latest finish though. (there are no spoilers though, only a shit load of mysteries)
About the theory that the comment section brought, in my opinion its 60% plausible. There are sub hints about that in the sequences abilities.
First, the Marauder pathway or the Error Pathway is heavily invested in time manipulation and control. Second, the Apprentice Pathway is inclined to the abilities that manifest through Space manipulation and travel. Meanwhile, the Fool's pathway is heavily invested on control both time and space are irrelevant to it.
Another theory also supports this, the one that speaks of a higher sequence above sequence 0. I and a few others believe that one sequence 0, should they want to ascend to a higher power. They need to control the uniqueness or spots of their own respective Pathway Group to reach the negative sequence.
I can say this since Klein's power on his sequence 3 Ancient Scholar gives him the ability to summon anything in history that he knows (Zarath and Klein summoned two mindless Rossele Gustav in their bout with the higher sequencer having the greater advantage). As for time, Amon showed Klein how he reverted everything from him dying and at the same time hacking through the door of the Origin Castle. (Klein harnessed the power of the sea scepter and the misty palace to launch a sequence 2 lighting bolt to him, while Amon dodge it by reverting his position destroying a mutilated corpse of a sequence 1 Warrior path, sneaky bastard).
As for the power of the Apprentice path, I'm still waiting for a demi-god Apprentice path to showcase his skills against the Tarot club in the next raws.
As for my temporary conclusion, it is really plausible that Klein was the lady in the circus. BUT! there's a catch. There is a 40% chance that the woman that Klein converse with is but a historical image of the true master of the Origin Castle.
Even Amon cannot penetrate the true form of the Origin Castle, claiming that the burden the host will carry is not simple and even he can't hack it using his uniqueness.
As for his brother and sister, I'm still praying! with all the events unfolding in the latest volume. I don't think that Melissa can catch up to the Tarot Club (except if the author decides to rat me out) since she is being portrayed by the author as someone who might take the mantle of an avenger. There is a small chance that the God of Machinery takes her as a servant against Klein since there are his only weaknesses except his past anyways.
Sollkiri the thing I don't really get is why would the Evernight Goddess (the one I think the raws call night goddess) be playing with Klein?
I get the others are more powerful than him and are his enemies but isn't he on the side of the night goddess? At least so far hasn't she been friendly to him?
Sollkiri Amon, True Creator, Night Goddess, Zarath and many more fucking deities are still playing with him
Sollkiri I mean we knew but he didnt,he was like a bigger chess piece compared to everyone else esp with the disguises and now...his faceless man is basically useless one of his sequence is actually useless haha sad.
Dextuary Except the lady mystery of the first volume, the night goddess was the first one to notice Klein's connection to the Origin Castle. Even now, she's corroding the authority of Death while not taking the advantage from Klein from the very beginning? that is the most suspicious woman in the novel even if the latest discovery that she is a survivor of the modern world doesn't match with her choices.
She's only a temporary ally for now though.
Blasphemer he still can use it though but the increase of personas is dangerous to him.
When you see another fight scene of the Tarot members without Klein is really fulfilling. There sequence is really suited to their growth.
The Tarot Club is officially recognized by the orthodox churches in Volume 6 Chapter 52, as a powerful secret organization that worshiped the Fool. Named by Leonard as the Tarot Society.
