Last month, I send in an editor application to webnovel, but I never got a response.

I followed the instructions. (Look below)

Step 1 Finish the test
1. Download and finish this "Editor Test"
2. Rename it as "Editor Test Return [Your email address]" Example: “Editor Test Return xxxxxxxxx@gmail.com”

Step 2 Submit your application and the test return
1. Fill this Application Form
2. Upload your finished test return file in the 2nd Section of the application form.

Step 3 Wait for our response in 15 days

So after I downloaded the test, I edited and renamed it, then went to Step 2 and filled the application form and uploaded the edited test in the second section. And after waiting for about 1 month, I didn't get any response.

Please @WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL, can you tell me if I passed the test or failed. And if it's possible for me to get employed.

They take forever to reply, sometimes up to 2-3 months. I've also heard that they usually don't notify those who failed the test, but don't quote me on that. Best to just forget about it and move on with your life for now, the reply will come when it comes...

On the other hand, you can try applying directly to the translation groups working for Webnovel, since Webnovel will just assign you to one of the groups if you pass, anyway. From what I understand, the groups don't all offer the same rates: some pay better than the others, so make sure to shop around!

      Wow. I just now discovered this forum and feel the same way (But I applied only 5 days ago; I understood that I wasn't going to get a reply that soon). I'm just so eager to help other writers and earn a little pocket change in the process.

        Webnovel sent me a contract then I replied them with a filled form, how long should it take before they respond to me?

          Hey! The content editors doesn't work on the weekends, and as far as I know, they have a holiday in Singapore so they won't be online until Tuesday
