Hey, so i've been reading A Wizard's secret, for the most part i've enjoyed it but there's a constant issue with either the translation or the source writing that really bugs me, here's an example.

Notice how it says black robed old man for the Wizard hill, this was his description before his name was revealed, and this happens a lot, i feel like it's the translators error but obviously i don't know Chinese to check the source material, i was wondering if anyone is able to check the raws and see if it's bad writing or bad translating?

      It feels like they've wrote his name down initially and now copy and paste it constantly.

        If I'm not mistaken, your issue is they keep using "black-robed old man" instead of "Hill"?

        Regardless, i checked the raw and the translation followed the raw. The raw also kept using "black-robed old man".

          Lonelytree yes that's my issue, and my god, i was hoping for it being a translation mistake because atleast that's understandable, but it being a mistake in the original writing is so bloody stupid.

              Actually, it might not be a mistake because authors often use the description of the characters as alternatives to their names as it would look rather ugly or awkward to write the same noun 7 times in a row.

                  Mute Well, Hill in chinese is 希尔 and Black-robed old man is 黑袍老头. I'll just say this, it's common knowledge that payment is decided by word count so you do the math. XD

                    Puncake Not when it comes to names, it's far more awkward to keep describing him as a black robed old man when his name is wizard hill
