I keep seeing these "I married a CEO" and "big boss" novels. Do people actually read these? I'm not saying they are bad or anything; but I've seen more than seven different translations and originals. Is this going to be a new genre like harem? The main charactor seems pretty shallow for most of them.

I've only read a couple of them so I'm no expert. The ones I have though had characters with deep troubles and it was interesting to read how they grew past them to move on again. They weren't 'gold diggers' by any means in those stories either due to them not actually wanting to be part of the relationship for quite a while.

Well Webnovel translations base on chinese novel popular. But u know it is work in global see how popular these novel. Translate novel which didnt make money is waste time.

TinyRustyPanda The Ceo stories are mainly geared towards females, and are usually revenge / overcoming great obstacle romance stories. Imagine if system stories for males were geared to females, and instead of massive power ups for the Mc you had new powerful men who'd go to heaven or hell to protect their lovely female lead.

DragonTreasures Well, to add even more, these female mc's usually makes their cold CEO's demeanor be thawed and become a gentle submissive worm that they play in their hands. Honestly, these novels are becoming "generalized" as It was the trend today. Everywhere you can see them now like those Isekai, Harem, Hero vs Demon Lord novels. But each of them has a twist despite having the same roots. So it's interesting to read them one by one.

Yeah, I shamelessly throw the CEO romance genre under the bus by making it gay XD.

I'm a pauper reader who likes reading about rich life and appreciating my life even more.
