Just as you might've seen on the email login problem thread of mine, when we open the app at any given time (it seems random), I see that I've been logged out. When I try to log back in through the email, it automatically skips to this screen as if it logged me back in on the mobile online site! And since the X is over my profile, I literally cannot do anything with this screen except browse stories. For if I click X, it takes me back to the screen where it asks through which way do I want to login. If I click email, I'm sent the same screen as mentioned once again.

Thus, I cannot truly log out and sign back in through email. Stuck with this screen, I reinstall the app, and it gets fixed temporarily until I randomly get kicked out of my account again without me ever having signed out.

I can only guess what the causes might be.

  • Maybe I need to update my iOS version, but I don't think so --> Actually, I started experiencing these problems ever since the membership went away (which I was signed up and then deactivated membership); whether this is a coincidence or not, no idea...
  • When I go to sleep and wake up and the app refreshes on me? Usually I'm not kicked out though.
  • When I'm traveling and lose wifi temporarily? It doesn't always happen though.

Just theorizing at this moment.

    ReachZhaiTW If it's of any help, since the last time you asked for my iOS version, I haven't had the email login glitch on the app.

    *shrugs, Maybe it's just a coincidence, and I'm speaking too early...

        On iOS I change the cookie settings to always allow and it seem to fix it after I logged in I turn the cookies off and it still works
