I've been revising my Zaldizko paperback baby today for a special edition release. I'm aiming to re-release with corrections applied and insert images. I have about 5 images that I'm fitting into. I hope they turn out okay. I'll definitely need a proof copy before release. Unfortunately, with planes locked down intl. I won't be able to get overseas mail anymore. At least for a while. So, I'll need to be able to proof in PDF.

It's been cool being able to reconnect with my Famine boy, as I realised how much I enjoyed writing his story. It's not the greatest tale out there. It's the greatest one I can write with my current brain capacity. In short, I'm proud of my efforts on my Seriphyn Knight series. In particular, Zaldizko.

Edit: I'll have to go outside and get electronic stuff tomorrow. Think wires haven't gone out of shops.
It's spooky how my Sunflower story is kind of like a documentary account now. Sort of like I'm living a similar toughness that Hinata and Eiji are going through. Weird.

        Mochimoshu Same same. Iā€™m lazy as is, but now Iā€™m even more of a lazy sloth instead of being productive and writing as much as possible. My mixed feelings are the inconveniences of not meeting up in person for school due to having many constant group projects, seeing friends, and not being able to eat out because restaurants are closing. šŸ˜­

        The only good thing is saving daily commute time and less laundry to clean because Iā€™m just in pjs all day. šŸ˜

            Veronica8 I feel ya on enjoying writing Zaldizkoā€”itā€™s how I feel about Canaan given I pick up my lazy arse to type it. Itā€™s something about the fantasy genre and the quirky or idiosyncratic cast of characters that often go along the genre that make it a joy to write. But at the same time, sometimes a hassle because of how in-depth everything can get.

              Chryiss Sleeping is the best exercise, imo šŸ˜‚. And yeah, it's ok if you don't write! Write at your usual speed and in other times, just relax. Because once the school reopens, we again complain and demand for more holidays šŸ˜…. Idk about you, but I do complain at the reopening day itself :grin:.

                18 people got sick, WHO says no need to arrange meetings. and tomorrow at work we decided to hold a meeting, there will be 200 people ... fun, if you donā€™t go, they can fire you, if you go ... or maybe itā€™s easier to quit? life is one ... but work can still be found.

                  Looks like another short round of necroā€™d review swapping and the like cropped up again. Well eventually, those necroers will run out of such threads lol.

                  The new lavender blanket I finished crocheting is so nice. I can drape it over my bed or use it as an oversized shawl and haul it around my house for soft coziness anywhere. It was lovely curling up in it on the couch as I typed a chapter on my laptop.

                  Also, I love rain sounds. Going to rainymood.com is very nice for relaxing and getting into the mood of writing, or studying as Iā€™ve done in the past.

                    Gourmet_DAO No, nothing that fancy. xD I can knit, but I much prefer crochet. I also find it quicker and easier to improvise on the dime without needing to look up references.

                    I mostly used triple crochets so that the blanket could be springy and scrunchy in order to best make use of the plushy yarn. I did 11 triple rows with a skip stitch for a grid pattern and then 2 rows of six triple crochets plus a skip stitch to create a stripe that was still springy. Then I went around the end with single-slip stitches for a short border and use up the rest of the yarn. In total, it took me a few weeks to make and probably 50-100 hours? Number is not exact lol. It took a while, but definitely not as long as it wouldā€™ve been had I been knitting.

                        Chryiss Crochet is difficult! We were forced to knit in high school at the labor lessons, itā€™s good that then the carpentry and locksmithing began, 2 years. A triple hook is very difficult. You need perseverance and patience. So you're really cool!

                        I also saw a machine that partially automates the work of knitting, but the material turns out to be some not so beautiful.

                          Something new is not being written for me. But I publish 1 - 2 chapters of the novel about the farm. I wonder why this is happening. It seems that he wrote the title pages of the new novel and drew up a plan, and there are ideas and thoughts and materials ... but nothing is written.

                            Doing a shot at TGIF for Sunflower since it's no 111. That's my lucky number. Also, need extra motivation to pump out more chappies and finish the book.

                              Gourmet_DAO Rather than creative inspiration, I struggle with getting into the mood for writing lol. So I listen to studio Ghibli music, which always helps every time, or watch some youtube about art or music which usually inspires me to write because I suddenly feel a competitive streak. I start thinking, hey, what am I doing with my life? I can totally create cool things just like these people I see, so get off your lazy arse and write!

                              Besides those, itā€™s just about discipline. Treat writing almost like a job where you aside time to write each day or week, and self guilt trip yourself when you miss that ā€œdeadline.ā€ Thatā€™s what I do for myself anyway. xD These arenā€™t exactly tips, but itā€™s the best I can offer lol!
