Looks like another short round of necro’d review swapping and the like cropped up again. Well eventually, those necroers will run out of such threads lol.
What happened today?
The new lavender blanket I finished crocheting is so nice. I can drape it over my bed or use it as an oversized shawl and haul it around my house for soft coziness anywhere. It was lovely curling up in it on the couch as I typed a chapter on my laptop.
Also, I love rain sounds. Going to rainymood.com is very nice for relaxing and getting into the mood of writing, or studying as I’ve done in the past.
[unknown] A blanket such as a Scottish plaid? Can you knit yourself? Cool!

Gourmet_DAO No, nothing that fancy. xD I can knit, but I much prefer crochet. I also find it quicker and easier to improvise on the dime without needing to look up references.
I mostly used triple crochets so that the blanket could be springy and scrunchy in order to best make use of the plushy yarn. I did 11 triple rows with a skip stitch for a grid pattern and then 2 rows of six triple crochets plus a skip stitch to create a stripe that was still springy. Then I went around the end with single-slip stitches for a short border and use up the rest of the yarn. In total, it took me a few weeks to make and probably 50-100 hours? Number is not exact lol. It took a while, but definitely not as long as it would’ve been had I been knitting.

Chryiss Crochet is difficult! We were forced to knit in high school at the labor lessons, it’s good that then the carpentry and locksmithing began, 2 years. A triple hook is very difficult. You need perseverance and patience. So you're really cool!
I also saw a machine that partially automates the work of knitting, but the material turns out to be some not so beautiful.

Something new is not being written for me. But I publish 1 - 2 chapters of the novel about the farm. I wonder why this is happening. It seems that he wrote the title pages of the new novel and drew up a plan, and there are ideas and thoughts and materials ... but nothing is written.
Comrades or gentlemen, writers, can share your experience or tips on how to start writing ?! How to motivate yourself! Or is it a creative thought, you need to let it settle, but it will ripen itself and then it will be possible to write new chapters for the novel?
While I'm confused.
Doing a shot at TGIF for Sunflower since it's no 111. That's my lucky number. Also, need extra motivation to pump out more chappies and finish the book.
If you see YumimochiX around. That's me in Fat Dumpling mode. I'm fatting up my book babies in progress at that account. I have two long running series, I own, being set up there.
Gourmet_DAO Rather than creative inspiration, I struggle with getting into the mood for writing lol. So I listen to studio Ghibli music, which always helps every time, or watch some youtube about art or music which usually inspires me to write because I suddenly feel a competitive streak. I start thinking, hey, what am I doing with my life? I can totally create cool things just like these people I see, so get off your lazy arse and write!
Besides those, it’s just about discipline. Treat writing almost like a job where you aside time to write each day or week, and self guilt trip yourself when you miss that “deadline.” That’s what I do for myself anyway. xD These aren’t exactly tips, but it’s the best I can offer lol!
Oh, man. You know it's a world crisis when you can't get a haircut at a salon anymore. :sob:
Oh My Hair!
I can't believe I'm replying to a year-old thread just to say that I absolutely did nothing amazing and just updated my novels HAHAHAHA! Then eat then shower then edit chapters. I wonder if this is what the quarantine is supposed to be? LOL
Veronica8 Here, everything is not closed yet! I will go and cut my hairs in next few days rather than suffering later! Don't know for how many days, CoV will continue to rule!
Hehe, thank you for the reminder
blairehawthorne You atleast updated your novel!
My routine is as follows,
Eat n sleep n eat n sleep! It has been like this from past 2 days but heck my online classes will start today!
I just finished watching Annabelle Comes Home. Sigh, it wasn't as nerve wracking as I thought it would be! I wasted my popcorns . Heck it didn't burn a single calorie of mine! It was not at all scary at first!
I hope The conjuring 3 will be fun.
Mochimoshu Yeah. Get the cut while you can. This controller virus is bad! My hair. :sob:
 Just as well I stocked up on mouse and gels.
blairehawthorne I can't believe I'd have to stay at home all alone because of this covid19

Chryiss That is, to develop the discipline of writing 1-2 chapters a day, every day no matter what? I already heard about it. Need to try! Thanks!
So far it turns out to write only every day for 1-2 chapters from 750 to 1600 words by the farmer Dara. For some reason, as I finished the rest of the short stories, ideas immediately appeared on the farm. Busy why?
Thank you, I’ll try to write one chapter today on a new novel.
Respect!
Veronica8 SO TRUE!
My poor mum is going to “go white” if she can’t dye her hair!
blairehawthorne That’s fine, this thread is for the random and very ordinary, haha! And I suppose so? Except I’m mostly slacking off and sleeping very late eheh~!
