firstly, don't give SS for reviews; it just makes people give five stars to random novels with randomly repeated comments on them.

this makes it so a lot of trash novels suddenly become "great" overnight.

secondly, i've noticed a lot of double or triple reviews. it's hard enough to find a good novel without a bunch of novels written by authors who can barely string a sentence together suddenly getting a heap of great reviews.

thirdly, a lot of your reviews are not reviews but just one word repeated over and over. please get a filter, or get someone to sit through them and delete those deemed unworthy.

i know that to you it might seem like a good thing that you get lots of five-star reviews, and you could even brag about them or something, but at this point, the reviews on this site are more worthless than used toiletpaper.

    miomoimeik Lol....don't whine...coz people does not care about what you feel or your opinions...you have eyes... then start reading and after 20 chapters...make your own conclusions...don't trust other peoples review...as a reader it's your responsibility to search for the novels you like and not depend on others for review...got it?...that if you are reader...but if you are an author? well...you have the power and you know it...

        Lizabelle88 while it is true that you should not rely on reviews entirely, looking at spammed reviews of "exp exp exp" over and over is unnecessary and entirely something that should be regulated to at least the extent of spam filters.

          miomoimeik Yep. It's the dark side of the review system. A lot of us have mentioned this a critical aspect that needs fixing.

          This site likes to make you work hard to search for your hidden quality gems that's for sure :grin:

                  OH DAMN. There really is a button for deleting reviews! I just saw it on my novels now! I thought it would just be for translated or contracted novels, but nope it's for ALL authors. Wow, that's really something else. To be fair, I haven't gotten any reviews that are blatantly attacking me for no reason, but I wouldn't delete a review just because it was a low score or highly critical.

                  Man... now it's going to be hard to find decent books if the overall ratings are all near 5 stars and the decent critical reviews which are actually helpful are deleted...

                    Why would they delete critical reviews? If that's the case, we might waste five minutes of our lives. LOL. Good thing my readers are very much on point when it comes to their reviews. I don't mind reading negative reviews on my work as long as it's not ad hominem.
