I'm sorry for the title but it is mega frustrating because the system in place does not work nor does it help readers find anything they might want to read. I made this account just to complain about the Tag system that might as well not be there. I hope it changes and the site administrators actually work on something that help the site visitors find what they want to read.

1- Authors should be able to tag their own novels (forced to if necessary).

2- Users should be able to search the entire site based on Tags & Genera with both inclusion and exclusions.

Example I should be able to search for: Include: Female Lead, Kingdom Building, Romance. Exclude: NTR, Rape, Absent Parents.

I mean you don't need to go far to find an excellent system in place, have a look here:

I have no idea why the biggest Western novels site don't have a functioning well developed search system yet. Today I felt like reading a harem novel, look at what the site display when you click the harem tag:

The majority of Novels on display got 0 things to do with the word "Harem".

Please fix.

Hmm that’s true. It seems hard to narrow it down so all I look at is the Covers and Summary, If they seem cool, I’d go at blindly. Being able to add your own tags would certainly help. I really hope they do more then just fix it, but make it easier to find novels. RoyalRoad wins in this regard

        lordjoseph7 I don't like wattpad because it doesn't give real exposure to new books. Also, their tagging system is also terrible...

            Because Webnovel owners are useless dipsh*ts?. Because the web designer has no idea what its doign? the programmer behind is stupid? maybe all 3?.
            I agree with you that searching tools is absolute garbage, not to mention troll tags

              It would also be good to be able to add to order the novels by the number of chapters that a novel has and also to be able to order them from when the novel is last updated
