I think that every 10 upvotes or so your comment gets you should receive a SS reward. It would reward more... Intelligent comments and would encourage more people to explore the fun depths that the comments section holds.
I, for one, would relish in the additional discourse such an incentive would bring as people vie for top spot and get into upvote wars with their fellow commentators.

Eastern mindsets are all about gradual growth and training to overcome one's limits; whereas Western ideologies are all about immediate gratification and going from Zero-To-Hero as fast as possible.I don't see any message, I must not have privilege!

As someone who's had his fare share of Haters in the Comments section I agree with this reply wholeheartedly.
If you're reading my comment at the end of the chapter that means it was upvoted more then any other comment by readers who agreed/were amused by it.
And to complain that they "Ruin the flow" is ridiculous: They're at the end of the Chapter! When you get to the end of the Authors writing just go right to the next page and continue on with your reading enjoyment.
Treat them the same as you would a spoiler warning in an article: Discontinue scrolling. Simple, eh? RekiChan Most Authors only check their reviews a couple times a week, so if you just save your review and post it in a different review thread for safe keeping you can just repost it the next day and it will probably be glossed over during the next sweep.
I've had a few Authors get into a deleting war with me and if you just post it in the comments section on one of their Novel's chapters they can't abuse their powers to delete it from there.

Here's a pro tip if you don't like what you see: Don't read it! Just change your comment setting to show "Newest First" and you'll only get the three newest comments at the end of each chapter.

I was watching Anime when I found out Manga was a thing.
Was reading Manga when I found out Manhwas/Webtoons were a thing.
Was reading "Tales of Demons and Gods", and when I got caught up I read in the comments section that it was originally a light novel that was way ahead of where the manhwa stopped.
Looked it up and binge read it over a few weeks and discovered that there was a whole World of light novels out there!
Eventually found Webnovel and really liked the idea of being able to comment at the end of each chapter and upvoting things, been here ever since.
Chryiss Love my comments or hate them, at least I put effort into them.
But when I go to read a new story and all of the comments before me are:

D: Exp
E: Thanks for the XP
Me: I really dislike that the MC got such an undeserved power up so soon into the Story.
