I knew this fucking Qidian was going to charge us for novels , and I was okay with it when they introduced the SS, as I know we have to pay the authors and translators. I even bought a few thousand spirit stones just to support them. But, this privileved shit is just too much !     I don't check in often for anything other than Release that Witch nowadays. Immediately noticed that there hasn't been any normal updates since 06/07/19, or ever since privileged came out.

    Does that mean we're being forced to buy privileged just to finish reading the novel?

      CreamPuffDelights Chapters are still being released. However, the timing has been changed to some time around 16:20 GMT+8. There was a lapse on 20th, but 2 chapters were released on 21st July.
      Also, it's because Release That Witch has completed.

          Alalalong It has already been releasing. Check it for yourself. You can now access 1486 (1487 will be released in about 5 hours from now). That makes the pool less than 15 chapters, which means you are already reading privileged chapters.

              I hope this privilege isn't just another way to "Slow down release/rate to increase chapters" without us noticing, because the dates stays the same, for the sake of transparency, the release dates of regularly released chapters should stay updated as if "privilege chapters" didn't exist, and privilege chapters should just exist with no release dates.

                  DaoistFedUp Can't speak for everyone. Some people just didn't have a big enough stockpile. Atlas Studios also had the same problem of not having a big enough stockpile.

                          To be honest, the main reason I want to know about the date is because I feel so cheated. Many translator/ translation studio just stopped releasing god knows when. Because of that privilege thing, it is hard to keep track

                              NewCultivator If you are following the story, you will see the chapters anyway. Also, the app will tell you how many unread you have. For completed books, that number won't reduce, but that also means it's ending, just check in every day to read them?

                              The dates thing might be changed in the future, but it's not a very high priority now.

                                  Try using a browser. I think if you open up a chapter and look at the list of chapters, anything that is privilege won't show because browser doesn't support privilege.
