  • Affects of the privileged readers program

2 Questions:

  1. Is the privileged reader program going to affect normal releases?
    Despite them denying it, novels I'm following haven't been updated at all, while there are more and more chapters for the privileged readers (imbafc, rogp). Admittedly others have updated regularly, so is it just these novels?

  2. Are mass releases only going to be for privileged readers?
    Since I don't follow any of the massed released novels except rogp,
    (also whats with all the romance novels? Can't we have mass releases for the other ones?)
    I don't know if it's true for all, but the mass releases for rogp last friday were all privileged (5 new chapters). The last chapter was uploaded July 8, and it's been 2 weeks.

    You know what, instead of spending this much money on Qidian's low quality novels, you can buy books by best-selling authors like Stephen King for much cheaper.

      1. No, it shouldn't. You will need to actually be reading the chapters to know if they are releasing because the time stamp shown is that of the initial Privilege release.

      2. No, mass releases will be released to every user. The system works this way, once a chapter is released to the Privilege user, a chapter from the Privilege pool will be released to normal users. A caveat is there are fewer chapters released than what the Privilege pool should have. (This should be a problem for originals, not translations).
        Mass releases aren't something that should be taken for granted. It's not easy to keep up releasing regular in the first place.

      ROGP actually mass released on Friday 19th July. A problem why you weren't seeing 'releases' was because you were reading into the Privilege pool. You definitely read quite a number of chapters all the way to 130 back then, didn't you? Now that the actual Privilege pool has been caught up with Premium chapters, releases will resume for normal readers, with 131 already available to be unlocked.

      Same thing for IMBAFC. You were reading into the Privilege pool. So until it catches up to the Premium chapters, you will have to wait.
