I was thinking of the same thing and something weird happened just 2 weeks ago as it jumped from 30+ to 100+ within a 24 hour window.
Was it something I did becoz I had been releasing regular chapters in them. Maybe it was fixed by this site to make believe that people are picking up the novels and adding to their library?
The number of collections doesn't tally with the number of views though.

If you've been updating daily, there's a chance your novel ended up being featured in "daily updates." May explain your sudden collection increase.
XOMatsumaeohana thanks for the update. There's no guidelines anywhere. Previously I had it updated 2 chapters per day and releases 3 chapters on a weekend. Only recently i released 3 chapters per day and 5 chapters on Sunday.
