So I've recently done an honest review of Dual Cultivation, more than 1k characters, describing point by point what I thought was good and what wasn't. The final note was a 2.8 due to the decreasing quality of the content and the unstable updates which I thought was a fair note to wake up the author, and not that harsh considering everything he's done so far. Yet he could just delete it, and now he's deleting every comment I made on the review section, some in the comment section in every chapter... How is that allowed? I'm not spreading hate, not insulting, not shaming yet he can simply delete my comments?

Honestly, webnovel should remove this power of the authors and instead just create better system to deal with bots marking 1 stars.
AscendedShin As far as I know, authors can only delete reviews (and comments in the review section). Maybe he reported the comments (those you made in the chapter section) and had wn delete them. It's not like they care about it being fair, to begin with.
In any case, that author only cares about earning. If your review and comments are detrimental to him, of course, he's going to get rid of them. Wn also only cares about earning, so of course, they'll support him.
Ain't much we can do about it.
I'm even starting to feel like the whole "there are too many trolls; give authors the ability to remove their reviews" is just an excuse. They would have implemented such a thing sooner or later.
BlissfulDeath The authors that do this claim any and ALL reviews that are less than 4 stars are trolls because only trolls would give low stars. I have ran into my own issues with an author like this. He even asked all his 10K+ readers to leave 5 star reviews to fix his rating do to these "trolls".
