After reading with this application for quite a while now, there are two things that have bothered me.
The first one would be picking up a novel.
I usually choose novels by looking at its genre, synopsis, and review, in that order almost every time. One thing that always bother me is the review section. Its mostly people trying to get rewards by posting a review, giving very high/low ratings to a novel that they haven't even read. Its rather hard to find critical reviews. So i thought, why not put a requirement/s before posting a review. It can be chapters read (putting in how much time they have put in reading the novel). Or maybe only seasoned reviewers should do it (maybe get spirit stones out of it? idk). What if it doesn't have much chapters yet, there won't be a review then? Maybe something like 60% of the chapters read or something similar to that. I know that there are better ways to do this, i'm just putting whatever comes to mind right now.
The second one would be the comments section on mobile app. I feel like there should be a feature to turn off comments at the end of a chapter. I don't want to see comments filled with how Person A doesn't like how the story is going, the character is dumb, that's not scientific or whatever. I'd rather not realize the flaws of the novel when i'm actually enjoying the novel. If i don't like the novel, usually because i get bored of drawn out/recurring stuff, ill just drop them completely. But that doesn't mean that i can't enjoy reading it until that point. And most of the novels shown here are translated novels that are already completed or have huge amount of chapters already. So please let me be an idiot and enjoy my novel. I actually like the comments section when people start discussing stuff and make jokes.
Case where i drop the novel completely because of review:
Reincarnation Sword God: was enjoying it till i realize it was actually repetitive from a certain review, whenever i read the novel later on, it just feels dumb and i just had to stop.
This might seem more like a rant and this is my first post in forums, so just telling how i feel about webnovel right now since there is no feedback feature except by posting in forums (or maybe there is but idk)
