Itachi2K3 qidian's getting pretty greedy, no? They have lotsa patrons on patreon. If this program is just like patreon it seems to me they're just creating another method to gain more money

Well it's' actually already a fact they the have changed the normal release date. Release that Witch has had the second chapter of the day released 14.00 GMT every day for the last couple of months, today the second chapter (694) is still behind actual paywall. I reckon the premium chapters will get further and further ahead.

TheFrenchBaker It's more like sustaining their authors, editors and translators? Improving their works so we can have better novels. In fact, no company have ever survived without supports or if they're not getting anything.

HugeJin it's not a paywall really. You can use your SS to read. Earn it or buy it. Good thing is, these premium chapters we'll be free eventually. We're still fortunate dude.

Well since you can earn SS for free, I don't have rights to complain
Since you can read premium after couple of months, I still don't have rights to complain
Since QI releases EXCELLENT NOVELS, why some readers still complaining.
We should support QI for making novels.

Meh , i'm not up to date with most novels aside from Daoist Gu so it doesn't really affect me that much . I feel bad for those who reads web novels every day though xD . You need to learn how to stack up chapters now boys .

Kervy So sad, you can try earning it dude. There are ways you can earn SS for free.

Itachi2K3 Dunno why a lot of people keep on complaining instead of supporting? You people need to understand that Qidian is in a business, they need to sustain their authors, translators, editors in order to create new and better Novels. Because if they don't, qidian will eventually die and we won't fulfill our addiction in reading.

Itachi2K3 You do realise that before Qi came in, people were still translating these novels right? We were getting everything for free. People who had the finances to support the translators were supporting using paypal or patreon. People who didn't have the means to afford that were reading for free. So what's so wrong about us wanting that to continue? Qi made the translators stop their translation by claiming copyright. Then took over the novels. But what changed? The quality is still the same as i was getting everything for free. There are still the same old grammatical errors in most novels. So it's still the same service, but now with added fees over it? How does that even make sense? Also how can Wuxiaworld work without premium then? How come they aren't going bankrupt? Their service is just as good as Qi. It's obvious that ads are enough to run a site like Qi or Wuxiaworld. Also Qi is a chinese site, they won't just go bankrupt if they don't have the international space. New novels were still coming out when they didn't have an international branch, so what makes you think that novels would stop or Qi would die if they don't have an international branch?

N0xiety Well, I don't have enough information regarding the matter. Maybe the they're trying something new? It's just I don't want to complain because I'm enjoying what they're doing. I read my favorite novels and I support them in just daily login or inviting accounts. Maybe they're gonna produce better numerous novels. It's just my opinion and it's still up to you whether you go to other site or support qi. Remember that not everything is for free.

N0xiety QI is paying a fixed rate to their translators and editors. Popular or not, translators and editors gets money all the same. 2) Are you seriously comparing the ads of qi to ww? WW ads are cancerous. You can't even run that site without an adblock, especially if you are using your mobile data. To put it simply, they earn so much more because of cancer ads. 3) Qidian will never die in China, but QI, without any profits, will eventually die out in flames since they would never be able to continue paying their translators and editors with a fixed rate for long. With the authors also wanting to get some in the pie, well, do you really expect qi will last a year? If they do, then only the popular novels will remain, and qi will cut off all the unpopular ones. Do you believe the translators who joined qi for the fixed rate will continue as fan translators? Do you think translators are cabbages and someone will eventually pick up the novels dropped by qidian? Stop being a bitch.

N0xiety I guess Qi were just trying to figure out something that will make a difference.. and also they will not do anything if they don't have a good reason to implement for changes and developments.
