6- reason: The story may start with comedy and a bang between the two characters who are imperfect in their own ways, but it's truly a story of how two people who are different world and who don't understand each other go through a lots of ups and downs, face losses, hurt each other tremendously, and even become the reason for each other's downfall, eventually come to understand each other.

I want to show that love isn't perfect. Loving someone isn't easy. Esp if that person is broken. They make a lot of mistakes and they also learn to forgive each other. Someone who hasn't been broken can't understand the other person's feelings. Someone who is comfortable being broken can't accept the endless love easily.

There's no such thing as pride/ego in love. It is difficult to love someone with a broken heart. It is also difficult to love someone who is broken and can't love you back. But it's not impossible. The two people will find it in the end if they just hold each other's hand and try to understand.

Like my other novel posted above, this one also starts with intense attraction + comedy. However, things are taking turn in the current arc.

Why I chose this song? My vampire king (male lead) is really old (4000 years old). Around two hundred years ago, he lost his family (killed by the humans) and became the vampire king. He's the type of man who would rather be the shield of his people than use people as his shield. He keeps all the pain in his heart. After 4000 years, his heart is nearly dead. He didn't hope for love or a companion who could bear his burden and walk alongside him. He has a human adopted daughter... he shows his soft side to his daughter only. He loves her so much that he wouldn't think for a second to sacrifice himself if saving her that way is the only way.

However, things change when he has a true mate. The vampire king who has been alone for so many years... who never opened his heart to anyone, including his parents, has a true mate who is a converted vampire === a vampire who was human once.

He didn't want to accept her as his true mate/queen, but he had to (because of his underling)

He decides to give it a chance. The feelings are there. A queen... he wants to open his heart to her, but she rejects him over and over again.

That's pretty much the beginning of the story (around 70 chapter)... to know more, read the book. I can't think of any other song. You are welcome to suggest.
