I wouldn't judge your book based on views. That is just a measure of how often people clicked to take a look at your book.

The better question is: How many collections do you have for your books? That tells you that they are interested enough to have it in their library.

    ^

It's good that you're getting views, but like Mr. Kazeseneken says, "How many collections does your novel have?"

It's best to release more chapters so that you have reviews and viewer comments so that you can better evaluate your novel.

You should also aim for an average of 1.5k words per chapter! ;)

yeah I'll try to release 1.5k per chapter, and I just checked, there's sadly no collections.

Origins_Ancestor that's good,, i have created a book also more than 2months now but still have not a lot of views nor revied

Jw, but would you say that having 32 collections with 3.8 thousand views is a good ratio for someone starting out like myself?

So may I ask if you still plan on continuing your novel even if no one puts it into there collection?

Origins_Ancestor collections are the most important thing to look at. no collection means you hooked no one to your novel.

Wayward_Scholar If you want to know the truth about getting collections, it's simple.

1)Mass Release - Most of the large jumps in collections that I have are from them.

2)Give them cliffhangers. I swear those help a lot. Just make sure it's not just cutting scenes though. Make them want more without short changing them.

3)Make it tense. If you want to write action, make it have stakes or give them context on why sh*t is about to go down. Hype the readers. Make them care.

4)Consistent updates - I got most of my collections from my first month. Currently a month and a half in, with two weeks of break included in that time. They look at that weekly chapter update rate and if it's too low, most won't add it to their library.

(I'm currently at 1500+ in collections.)
Hope to see you guys still posting a few months after this post. Don't worry about making mistakes. Your novel is your baby, don't let other people's judgement make you abandon your baby.

Eventually you'll want to edit your work, do it after finishing the volume first. That way it would serve as an outline. Use the comments as points to work on, but don't take everything in stride. Good luck!
