Demonification yes I am always here. Distracting myself from writing my novel, and reading. And working sometimes lol
Rak0 ugh! I tried writing my own novel(fanfic). But my inspiration suddenly went ‘whoosh’. I only reached 10 chaps

Writing is unique in the sense that there needs to be some certainy for a story to grow and flourish, jumping straight in doesn't always work. There need to be more then just inspiration you need to know what you want. And understand your various approaches to getting there

In my case, I had inspiration from a weird title and then thought of a rough outline for how I wanted the story to unfold. Everything in between is just random stuff as I step towards those key points in the outline.
kazesenken exactly you had some clarity to what you wanted.
I just establish a concept, and msg and work towards delivering that msg. Just letting the story develop naturally. No planning besides I want to have this story portray this msg, what should happen next

I really only have like 1 or 2 major plot points that I wanted to include in each volume. Everything else is kind of random as I think of it on the spot. You'll probably see that whenever you get around to reading mine.

I'm a fast reader.
And I'm not saying random writing doesn't work, just that most of the time there is is some if any direction. Especially so for novels/ stories. Strips, poems, etc are a bit more vice-versa.
At least from my experience.

kazesenken I will get to reading it. And when I'm done you will never know. Muahaha. I don't make any absolute position until I read the entire story. I just stand at either I like it or not.

It'll probably be awhile before I finish the entire story. The 2nd volume is probably going to end around chapter 60. But there's more after that. Basically, I'm treating like a Japanese LN.
